Best Bachelorette Airbnbs in Nashville Guide

When you’re planning a bachelorette party in Music City, choosing the right vacation rental can set the tone for an unforgettable experience. Here’s what you should look for when selecting the perfect Nashville Airbnb for your bachelorette bash:

Location and Accessibility

For your bachelorette party, stretch your money further by choosing a spot close to Broadway, downtown Nashville, and other popular nightlife destinations.

Seek out an Airbnb near the best restaurants, bars, and concert venues in the city, and make sure it’s a safe area—like downtown, West End, Midtown, East Nashville, and the Gulch. Whether by foot or Uber, being close to all the excitement guarantees a safe and easy return home.

Amenities and Comfort

Aim for Airbnbs that cater to large groups and have enough space for pre-party shenanigans. Look for open-concept living areas, multiple bathrooms, and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Extra amenities like a hot tub, rooftop deck, or a large kitchen can make your stay even more cushy.

And it’s always a good idea to seek out properties with bachelorette-friendly touches, like full-length mirrors, makeup stations, or a sound system for getting ready with your girls in style.

Reviews

It’s important to read Airbnb reviews before booking a place for your bachelorette party. Seek out properties that have awesome reviews for their cleanliness, safety, and the host’s communication skills. Past guests often comment on how well a location worked for a group or celebration, and this can help you decide whether it will work for your party.

Booking Policies and Support

Since you’re throwing a Nash bach, always check the property policy on events and noise levels. A lot of Airbnb happily welcome bachelorette parties (as you’ll see when reading reviews), but it’s always a good idea to confirm this with your Airbnb hosts before booking.

Also, check the cancellation policy and make sure there’s a clear line of communication with the host for any questions or issues that may arise during your stay.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can we decorate the Airbnb for our bachelorette party?

Most hosts are fine with decorations, as long as they don’t cause any damage to the space. But always check with the host beforehand to avoid any fees or issues.

How far in advance should we book our Airbnb for a Nashville bachelorette?

Nashville is a popular destination, especially for bachelorette parties, so it’s best to book your Airbnb several months in advance to snag the best location and deal.

Are there any additional fees we should be aware of?

Always check for cleaning fees, security deposits, and any additional guest fees. When you’ve narrowed this down and know the total cost upfront, it makes budgeting your trip a whole lot easier!

What should we do if we have a large group?

Look for Airbnbs that specifically state they can accommodate large groups. Some hosts may offer neighboring properties or have multiple units available.

Conclusion

Music City is the perfect place for your bachelorette weekend, thanks to its iconic music scene, delicious dining, and endless entertainment options.

To make your Nashville bachelorette experience even more smooth, we’ve curated a collection of the nine best Airbnbs tailored to every taste and party size.

Best Airbnbs in Asheville NC Guide

Asheville offers a special blend of culture, stunning scenery, and kind Southern hospitality. Whether you’re organizing a family outing, a solo retreat, or a romantic getaway, picking the ideal vacation rental can make a big difference. Here are the top things to consider when choosing an Asheville Airbnb.

Location and Accessibility

Consider selecting a vacation rental near popular spots like the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore Estate, and downtown, so you can make the most of your trip to Asheville. Make sure to look for a location that reflects the experience you’re going for, as every area has something special to offer.

It’s also a good idea to think about whether you’ll be using public transportation or driving so you can choose a location that meets your travel needs.

Amenities and Comfort

If you’re planning to stay in Asheville for an extended amount of time, choose an Airbnb with amenities like Wi-Fi, climate control, and a kitchen. Asheville is famous for its quirky and unique accommodations, so go all in and choose a place with special features like fire pits, hot tubs, and mountain views.

It’s also important to make sure the Airbnb fits your space needs, whether it’s a large house for family gatherings or a cozy nook for romantic getaways.

Reviews

When in doubt, always lean on the wisdom of past guests to help you choose the perfect vacation rental for you. Reviews will give you an honest idea about what it’s like to stay at the Airbnb, oftentimes revealing things like the comfort of the beds, the Wi-Fi reliability, and the responsiveness of the host. It’s in your best interest to prioritize places that have a lot of positive reviews.

Booking Policies and Support

Asheville has notoriously unpredictable weather, especially during the winter months, so it’s always a safe option to choose an Airbnb with flexible cancellation policies. Airbnb has great customer service overall, but it’s never a bad idea to make sure the particular host has solid customer support so you can rest assured they’ll address any problems quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the best time to visit Asheville and book an Airbnb?

Asheville is beautiful all year round, but the prime seasons are considered spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) when the weather is a perfect, mild temp and the surrounding scenery is at its peak. If you’re planning on a fall visit for some leaf peeping, make sure you plan ahead and book early as it’s the most popular time to visit.

Are there pet-friendly Airbnbs in Asheville?

Yes, Asheville is very pet friendly in general, and offers many pet-friendly Airbnbs! When you’re searching for properties on Airbnb, filter your search to include pets. But always double-check the pet policies and look out for any hidden fees or deposits required for your furry friends.

Can I find Airbnbs in Asheville with mountain views?

You betcha! Asheville is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and several Airbnbs come with stunning mountain views. Again, make sure to use the filter option for mountain views when you’re searching for your perfect rental.

Is downtown Asheville a good area to stay?

If you’re more interested in delicious food, nightlife, the arts, and culture, downtown Asheville is a terrific choice for you! But if you’d rather be in a more serene, picturesque area, think about renting somewhere beyond the city limit to get your nature fix.

What should I pack for a trip to Asheville?

Since Asheville’s mountain weather tends to be unpredictable, play it safe and pack layers to accommodate the changing temperatures. Best Hotels in San Jose, Costa Rica (Near Airport) Guide

When choosing a hotel near Juan Santamaría International Airport in Costa Rica, there’s a couple things you might want to think about before picking from nearby hotels.

Proximity to the Airport:

It goes without saying, but this one is crucial! When you book a trip to Costa Rica, you’re most likely flying into San José Airport (SJO), so picking a hotel near the airport will make that first night that much easier.

Airport hotels are ideal, especially if you have an early morning flight or a tight schedule. Double-check the distance between your hotel and the airport before you book. Not only will this save you valuable time, but it will also reduce stress once you land.

Airport Shuttle Service:

Even if you book a hotel near the airport, it won’t really be worth it unless your hotel offers a shuttle service to or from Juan Santamaria Intl Airport. Most hotels offer this as a complimentary service but check in advance to make sure that’s the case.

Hotels near Juan Santamaria Intl Airport come in all shapes and sizes. Some have just enough amenities for a quick stopover, like a coffee machine in each room, while others are designed for long-term stays.

Luxury accommodation, like AC Hotel by Marriott, boasts a more modern room and stay decked out with perks from free breakfast to a flat-screen TV, not to mention swimming pools, a hot tub, or even a tennis court.

Safety and Security:

On the topic of safety: It’s worth noting that while Costa Rica is widely regarded as a safe country to visit, urban and bustling areas like San Jose or Santa Ana carry their own risks. Look for hotels that offer security cameras or have a reputation for safety and security.

Pro-tip: The safer the hotel, the more likely it will offer that shuttle service to and from Juan Santamaria Intl Airport. This is only going to relieve your stress, especially if you’re traveling alone or with family.

Price and Value:

Before reserving a hotel near Juan Santamaria Intl Airport, take a moment to assess your budget before you book. Not every hotel near San Jose or Santa Ana is going to be the same price. Aim for a sweet spot between necessities and what your wallet allows before finalizing your booking.

While affordability is essential when planning your trip to San José don’t compromise on quality and necessary amenities. At the bare minimum, ensure that the cost of the hotel includes essential security measures for a safe stay.

Best Exuma Resorts Guide

The right hotel can make all the difference to your Exuma vacation. And there are a few important factors you need to think about before coming to your final decision.

Here’s what you need to consider when booking a hotel or resort in Exuma.

Location

One of the first things to think about when booking accommodation in Exuma is location, as Exuma as a whole is made up of 365 islands and cays. Of those 365 islands, however, only 20 are inhabited, which helps make your decision that slight bit easier.

Great Exuma, Exuma’s largest island, undoubtedly brings in the most tourists. But if you’re after a more relaxing, secluded stay, then one of Exuma’s other islands may be better suited to you.

Luckily, for visitors to Exuma, getting from island to island is a fairly straightforward process as there are plenty of water taxis at your disposal. So once you’ve narrowed down which islands align with your vacation preferences, you’ll then be left with the all-important question of whether you want a beachfront resort, a resort near restaurants and other amenities, or a hotel with little to nothing around.

Beach Access

As Exuma is well-known for its picturesque soft sand beaches, beach access is one of the most major things to consider when choosing your accommodation—after all, people don’t visit Exuma to see skyscrapers and elaborate buildings now, do they?

Exuma boasts some incredible beachfront resorts—some with their own private beaches and even private islands—which allow you to step directly out of bed and onto the sand. These resorts are typically more expensive than those further away from the shoreline. But waking up to the sound of the ocean and uninterrupted views of Exuma’s magnificent water really starts your day off in the right way.

When deciding on accommodation, also think about how you plan to travel. Will you be hiring a car so you can drive to the beach? Or do you plan on exploring the area by foot? Your mode of transport will ultimately help decide how close you want to be to one of Exuma’s stretches of sand, so keep that in mind when booking!

Activites and Excursions

Exuma is up there as one of the best locations for relaxing. But it is also a haven for activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and diving. When choosing a hotel in Exuma, take into consideration the activities and amenities that they offer on-site as well as the activities they arrange with local guides.

You’ll need to think about the types of activities you want to do during your stay and ultimately factor them into your accommodation decision. Do you want to snorkel in some of the prettiest coral reefs the world has to offer? Or do you just want to relax by the pool after a stress-relieving massage in the spa?

If the latter aligns with your vacation itinerary, then choose a hotel with an expansive swimming pool and an onsite spa. However, if you want to explore Exuma’s surrounding waters, then look for a resort that offers or can arrange private or shared excursions.

Budget

As Exuma is a dreamy vacation destination, it probably comes as no surprise that accommodation options are above average in terms of price. Now, this isn’t to say that you can’t find budget-friendly resorts and hotels on the islands—because you totally can—but highlighting your budget before deciding on a hotel can really narrow down your options.

Work out how much you’re willing to spend on accommodation while also considering the types of activities you wish to participate in. People often set a budget for their accommodation but forget about additional costs (activities, food, and transportation), which ultimately ramp up the price of their getaway.

Visiting Exuma during the low season (end of April to the beginning of December) can result in cheaper accommodation prices while booking a room or a villa with a kitchen can help cut down on food costs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)

What are the best hotels in Exuma for families?

One of the best hotels in Exuma for families is the Embrace Resort in Staniel Cay. The resort offers guests accommodation with spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchens, and bathrooms with a bathtub. However, what really sets it apart from the rest is the onsite pool, nearby restaurants, and grocery stores, and its babysitting services to give Mom and Dad a well-needed break.

Which hotels in Exuma have the best beachfront locations?

Thanks to the island of Exuma’s narrow shapes, there are plenty of resorts and hotels with beachfront access. However, Paradise Bay and Sandals Emerald Bay Golf, Tennis & Spa Resort are two hotels in Exuma with the best beachfront locations.

Paradise Bay boasts quaint beachfront bungalows, while the five-star, all-inclusive Sandals Emerald Bay opens up onto a private beach that only hotel guests can access.

What are the most affordable hotels in Exuma without compromising on quality?

You can expect to pay slightly higher prices for a hotel in Exuma. But there are some great budget-friendly options that won’t break the bank or put you off visiting altogether. One such hotel is the Turtles Nest Bahamas, which not only falls into the reasonably priced category but also features everything you’d need for a comfortable Out Islands stay.

Turtles Nest Bahamas has more affordable queen and king rooms, along with slightly more expensive studios and apartments. Both the studios and apartments, however, come with fully equipped kitchens. So, you can ultimately cut down on food costs to save money elsewhere.

Which hotels in Exuma have the best views or scenic locations?

Grand Isle Resort & Residences and the St Francis Resort are two hotels in Exuma that offer the best views, thanks to their beachfront locations. The Grand Isle Resort boasts rooms with interrupted sea views, while the St Francis Resort features houseboats that are directly on the water—the views don’t get much better than that!

Conclusion

The picture-perfect Exuma islands have an abundance of beachfront resorts and peaceful boutique hotels that are guaranteed to suit all preferences and budgets.

Whether you’re looking to celebrate an anniversary, a honeymoon, or a birthday or just experience the beauty that Exuma has to offer, the islands and its hotel have something for you.

Of all the hotels we’ve mentioned today, Paradise Bay is our top choice due to its affordability, its nearby activities, and its beachfront access. However, if you’re looking to vacation in style, then the Sandals Emerald Bay is a seriously strong contender.

Cinque Terre, Italy, Is My Favorite Place To Enjoy the Less Crowded Areas in This Beautiful Country

Note: The Travel Awaits team regularly updates content to provide the latest, and most accurate information to our readers. The updated content in this article may not reflect the views or opinions of the original author.

Italy is such a wonderful and diverse country to visit; each region seems to have a personality all its own. For instance, Rome is an eclectic mix of ancient and modern, while Florence is a big city with a small-town feel.

I have traveled all over Italy, visiting Capri, Rome, Florence, Venice, Italian Riviera, and more, but no place has captured my attention and stolen my heart quite like Cinque Terre.

The Cinque Terre is made up of five villages on Italy’s Ligurian coast. Not only is the entire region a national park, but it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The natural beauty of this rugged coastline is unmatched and draws visitors from all over the world. As colorful houses seem to cling to the side of plunging cliff sides, you can’t help but stand in awe of the Italian beauty that surrounds you.

Cinque Terre offers visitors incredible views, a vibrant coastal atmosphere, outstanding hiking trails, and, of course, fabulous Italian food and wine to enjoy.

Let me introduce you to all of the reasons that I fell in love with Cinque Terre, Italy!

Cinque Terre, Italy, Is a Region I Simply Adore, and Here’s Why

Five Destinations In One

Tour The Five Villages of Cinque Terre

A trip to the Cinque Terre means that you get to explore five unique villages while in the area. Made up of Riomaggiore, Vernazza, Manarola, Corniglia, and Monterosso al Mare, you get the pleasure of exploring all five during your trip. Of course, you can also choose your favorite to make your home base during your trip.

All of the charming villages in Cinque Terre are easily connected via the local train, and most are connected by the hiking trails that wind through the national park. This ease of connectivity allows you to move freely about the area during your visit, thus essentially getting five destinations in one!

Rich History

Explore a UNESCO World Heritage Site

The extensive history of Cinque Terre has earned it the label of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This history will envelop you as you begin to explore the five towns of the region.

You can discover medieval castles in both Riomaggiore and Vernazza before checking out the Gothic churches that are present in Manarola and Corniglia. Dating back to the 1200s, the narrow cobblestone streets and colorful houses of Cinque Terre also give you a peek into its historical past.

The Area Is Incredibly Colorful

Get Out On The Water To Capture The Beauty of Cinque Terre

Everywhere you turn in Cinque Terre, you are surrounded by beautiful views. From the turquoise blue water to the pastel-colored houses, the colors of Cinque Terre seem never-ending. Even the gray cliff sides appear to have shades of blue and purple swirled into them.

The best way to see the true beauty of Cinque Terre is to see it from the water. There are several boat tours available that allow you to get the best views of the five villages. Once on the water, it is easy to see why this is one of the most colorful cities in the world.

Sciacchetra Wine

Learn About (and Sample) This Famous Wine

During your visit to Cinque Terre, you will see vineyards dotting the hillsides throughout the region. These vineyards are the source of a famous wine created from the grapes harvested here, a sweet dessert wine named Sciacchetra.

Renowned for not only the region it is produced in but also for its rarity, trying Sciacchetra wine is a must when visiting Cinque Terre. I recommend going to the Cantina della Cooperativa Agricolture delle Cinque Terre headquarters in Riomaggiore, where you can take a guided tour (April-October and December) to learn all about the production of this famous wine.

Of course, you can also have a tasting during your visit as well. Visit their website for more information.

Pro Tip: To get a closer look at some of the Cinque Terre vineyards, be sure to do the Manarola Vineyard Walk. The Manarola walk makes it is to see why this is one of the most romantic towns in Italy. This is a fairly easy walk, but it does have an elevation change and some stairs.

Delicious Food

Get Your Fill of Seafood and Pesto

Visit the restaurants in the Cinque Terre and you will find the two things that reign in this region, seafood and pesto. The seaside location of the five villages ensures that the region has a vast selection of fresh seafood to choose from. One of the main seafood staples here is the anchovy. You will find the oily, salty fish battered and fried, or just marinated in lemon and olive oil picked from the local olive and lemon trees.

You might be wondering why so many restaurants here have pesto on their menus though. Well, that is because Cinque Terre is the birthplace of pesto. Pesto is a sauce that is created by combining fresh basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, and cheese. Basil absolutely loves the climate in this region of Liguria, so it comes as no surprise that pesto was first created here.

While visiting Cinque Terre, you can enjoy pesto on focaccia bread or on top of delicious homemade pasta. I recommend trying Trofie al Pesto. The crescent-shaped Trofie pasta is the perfect vessel to soak up the delicious pesto sauce.

The food in Cinque Terre is true, authentic Italian food. When you combine this great food with the amazing Cinque Terre atmosphere, you have the makings of a food lover’s dream. Imagine sitting on the cobblestone streets of a UNESCO World Heritage Italian town while you enjoy a meal consisting of freshly caught seafood or delicious homemade pesto and a glass of local red and white wine. Talk about living la dolce vita!

Pro Tip: When choosing restaurants to eat at in Cinque Terre, look for authentic, local places. One such restaurant that I recommend is Rio Bistrot in Riomaggiore. Rio Bistrot serves up freshly caught seafood and delicious homemade pasta to their guests, and it is amazing!

Staying at Cinque Terre Villages

You May Reconsider Other Options

You don’t have to travel each day and can soak up the atmosphere in the evenings if you choose to stay in one of the villages. But because of Cinque Terre’s popularity, accommodation is pricey, even for pretty uninspiring places. So book early!

Except in larger villages Monterosso and Riomaggiore, there aren’t many hotels, so it’s mostly guesthouses and apartment rentals. For the most part, people stay in rooms with their own entrances that were, at some point in time, part of someone’s home.

Another proposition is staying in La Spezia as we decided to do. La Spezia is just an 8-minute train ride to Riomaggiore, the first of the five villages and my favorite. Over the years, La Spezia has become more popular, as more people choose to stay there before heading to Cinque Terre.

The biggest reason why I recommend booking in La Spezia aside from some cost savings, is that most of the Cinque Terre’s buildings are located on the cliff sides of the mountains. Dragging your luggage up and down these steep and narrow paths could be a real pain. A lot of people doing that when I visited the villages did not look happy.

Hiking Cinque Terre

Hike To All Five Villages Of Cinque Terre

The Cinque Terre is a dream destination if you enjoy hiking. You will find the five villages all connected by a series of hiking trails that hug the coastline throughout this Italian national park. The hiking in Cinque Terre varies from easy, relatively flat hikes like the trail from Manarola to Riomaggiore, to trails that are more difficult.

The majority of the trails in Cinque Terre require you to have a hiking permit, so be sure and purchase a permit before setting out on your hike. Permits can be purchased at any of the train stations of the tourist information points in the villages.

As hiking is a favorite activity of visitors here, it is important to note that if you are visiting during the summer, the hiking trails can often become very crowded. Many of these trails are narrow as they hug the coastline, so when they get crowded, they can become tricky to navigate.

Pro Tip: When hiking in Cinque Terre, it is important to be prepared. Be sure to take good hiking boots, plenty of water and protect yourself from the sun. You should also check the condition of the trails on the Cinque Terre website as Cinque Terre is prone to flooding which can drastically affect the trails.

Views Of The Ligurian Sea

Enjoy Swimming In The Italian Riviera

As all but one of the towns of the Cinque Terre sit by the seaside, it feels as if the sea is calling to you while visiting Cinque Terre. The colorful boats bobbing in the gorgeous blue waters of the Ligurian Sea create an amazing foreground for the colorful cliffside houses. As the beauty of the water surrounds you, it seems to beckon for you to come and explore.

If you are visiting Cinque Terre during the summer months, there is nothing better than enjoying the refreshing waters of the Ligurian Sea. While you can swim from most of the villages, the only true Italian beach to visit in Cinque Terre is in Monterosso al Mare. Spend the day lounging in the colorful seaside beach chairs or swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Italian Riviera.

Pro Tip: If you are spending the day on the beach in Monterosso, then be sure to visit the beachside restaurant, Ristorante il Gabbiano, and try some of their seafood pasta!

Welcoming And Relaxed Vibe

Spend Time Practicing ‘Dolce far Niente’

Describing the feeling or vibe of a town or region to someone can often be difficult. When describing Cinque Terre to people, I tell them that I feel like the region gave us a warm hug when we arrived and never let go.

The people of the Cinque Terre are so welcoming and kind. Not only are they willing to help with almost anything you need, but most will even go above and beyond to ensure that you enjoy your time in their villages.

During our visit to Cinque Terre, we asked a local for directions to the entry of a hiking trail. Instead of just telling us, this kind man personally escorted us to the entrance of the trail.

The philosophy of the locals in Cinque Terre revolves around the belief of dolce far niente, which translates to “the art of doing nothing”! You will notice that locals seem to take their time doing things and don’t seem stressed to rush through the day. Don’t misunderstand, you will still get great service in Cinque Terre, it just feels more relaxed than other areas we have visited.

Before you know it, you will be feeling more relaxed and experiencing dolce far niente during your time in Cinque Terre, Italy, as well.

The town of Grand Marais is a very walkable community. Park your car and enjoy a stroll downtown, which features shops, galleries, and eateries, and then venture toward the lake and its attractions.

8 Amazing Things to Do in Grand Marais, Minnesota

1. Explore Artist’s Point And Walk To The Lighthouse

This is a must-see when visiting Grand Marais. As you approach the Grand Marais harbor from the Coast Guard station, you can turn left to explore the scenic Artist’s Point, a peninsula near the lake.

On the opposite end, located at the end of the seawall in Grand Marais’ bay, walking to the lighthouse is among the most popular things to do in town. Built in 1922, the lighthouse is still used for boaters in Lake Superior. The walk along the two-block-long concrete and volcanic basalt stone path offers majestic views of Lake Superior, the Sawtooth Mountains to the south, as well as the town. The lighthouse is a popular spot for selfies and family photos. Walking along the seawall is safe, with a wire fence running alongside if you feel the need to steady yourself. While the walk is paved, it has a few rough spots and is not recommended for people who need assistance walking, nor is it wheelchair accessible. The seawall is a busy spot where you’ll also find artists standing on the rocks creating paintings of the landscape and lake view.

2. Kayak Lake Superior

From the days when the Ojibwe Native Americans traveled along the waters to the French fur traders looking to trade with local tribes, Lake Superior has been a major transportation route for more than 500 years. Today, it’s a popular destination for tourists to explore via kayak or canoe, with several tour companies offering guided outings. You can even explore by yourself with rental equipment from local outfitters. As you paddle your way from local beaches to the bluffs and small islands located in the area, you’ll enjoy special views from the water level that you won’t see from the shore of Lake Superior. Explore rocks along the coast, catch glimpses of wildlife and waterfowl in their natural habitat, and take in the wooded bluffs hugging the shore of Lake Superior.

3. Explore The Local Art Scene

Between Lake Superior, the Sawtooth Mountains, and the cityscape, Grand Marais has a strong art colony. It’s common to find en plein air artists painting along the shoreline. The city is even the site of an annual Plein Air Grand Marais festival, which attracts hundreds of artists from around the country. With nearly a dozen art galleries and studios in downtown Grand Marais, you’ll find a variety of paintings and photographs to enjoy. Each gallery and studio is within walking distance of each other, so you can make a day of just taking in art. For almost 25 years, North House Folk School has offered courses on traditional crafts, such as basket making, fiber art, and even boat building.

4. Beaver House

You don’t need to be a fishing enthusiast to enjoy a stop at downtown Grand Marais’s Beaver House. With a giant walleye head sticking out from the side of the building, Beaver House has been the go-to place for fishing lures, rods, and more since the mid-1960s, when Bill Cronberg opened its doors. Today, his son Tyson runs the store, sharing fishing stories with anyone eager to chat. The Cronberg family has invented lures, such as the Beaver Flick, invented by Bill’s son Marty when he was 17. The special design is said to be good for catching any type of fish in summertime or when ice fishing. The downtown Grand Marais store is swamped with all kinds of lures and other items, such as tourist T-shirts and sweatshirts. Grand Marais is a great summer destination that you shouldn’t miss!
