Everything was perfect! A little retro cottage off the beaten path was just great for us. Three days was not enough.Great effort to be eco-friendly. Basic supplies were readily available. My litmus test is “Would I book again?” and the answer is ABSOLUTELY!
Our stay at Silver Sands was perfect. We had a spacious clean living quarters. We enjoyed the beach and the Florida State Parks. We also loved visiting St. Augustine. This get away is very close to Fort Matanzas. Located on scenic A1A, you will like this scenic highway.
The best place to stay whether its just for a lovers vacation or family vacation. We are already planning our next trip!!
The “direct beach access” is not for anyone with mobility issues! A beautiful canopy but filled with many trip hazards that ends in a 12 foot high walkway to a set of 18 stairs at a scary angle. The young and those without any challenges of walking or climbing might love this place but younger children and the person dealing with arthritis or general weakness will have a hard time seeing the sunrise over the ocean.
Property is landscaped with tile murals and the 500-foot mangrove tunnel to the beach. (well, it’s probably not 500′, and might not be mangroves, but it is a lovely walk thru a living green tunnel). it was a quiet place to be and play.

Wonderful property! Clean, great communication with property manager, multiple amenities available, quiet location. Returning guests that will definitely return soon!
We really enjoyed our stay at Silver Sands in the Pelican cottage. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We saw 2 turtles on the property and where they nest. The walk to the beach was awesome through the “tunnel” and it was very nice to have beach chairs available for our use. We would definitely stay here again!
    Great location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at silver sands. The cottage and the grounds were serene and welcoming. The short walkway to the beach was beautiful.
This property was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The access to the beach was fantastic, the cottage was cute and comfortable and the property was quiet and friendly. If you like going to the beach and relaxing, this is the place for you.

My wife and I brought our two kids down and the house is very clean very well prepped and has beautiful views. The area is incredible and we have already recommended this same rental house to friends of ours who are looking to take their family on a quiet vacation.
The property was as advertised! Very clean and beach access was fantastic. The house had everything we needed and it was just a 10 minute drive to stores etc. It was an added bonus there were paddle boards included as well. We loved seeing the dolphins, manatee’s and some sting rays. The water at the beach is very shallow when the tide goes out but is extremely clear when the tide is high. There aren’t any waves so it’s perfect for little kids. Because it’s so shallow, you can take the boards out quite a distance and still see the bottom. Very nice little house.
This is a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful parts of Florida that most people never see.
The host was very kind, helpful, generous and respond quickly to my inquiry. The location is fantastic if you need privacy especially when kayaking, paddle board and is next to the State Park where the beach is always busy. Great location on Pine Island at the water of Gulf of Mexico. Access to the commercial stores is only approx. less than 7 miles and 5 miles to Weeki Wachee. Love the bonfire! Thank you for sharing your home to our mini-vacation. We had a wonderful experience and awesome memory! Juliet
Love the property love the location love the amenities love the dolphins love the manatees love Willys love the mermaidsI

Our relaxing stay in Cedar Key was so much better having stayed in Fishtale Lodge! We truly had all the comforts of home and then some, from the amazing kitchen to the comfy beds – complete with a wonderful view of the gulf from the wrap-around porch, and located “just around the corner” from downtown. Be sure to contact Bobby about golf carts when you arrive – great service and a really nice guy 🙂
Second year at this property. Loved it just as much this year. Very peaceful and quiet, great fishing. Bill is very easy to talk to and informative. Highly recommend this property.
Home is a very good location on quiet street but easy golf cart ride to downtown restaurants, shops, beach etc. We went out on boat everyday – fishing, swimming, some scalloping. Caught crab in crab pot off back of house. Saw dolphins, rays and all sorts of hermit and horseshoe crabs. Make sure to check tides – canal behind house is not passable at lower tide times & most boats won’t be able to be kept there. (There’s plenty of parking in large driveway area – we had truck & long boat trailer and it fit fine, along with 2 golf carts & 2 cars) Also area around the various keys can get quite shallow Nice view from kitchen and dining/living area. House is very well stocked. Owner communicative & we rented golf carts from neighbor. Two granddaughters hs a great time as did everyone else too. We ate at Steamers twice (we usually do all cooking at home or eat out only o ce so going back to a place tells you how much we liked it) – steamers, oysters Rockefeller, crab cakes, crab legs, seafood pasta. 1842 Daily Hrind was very good too & cute merchandise. We went to welcome center and also the little aquarium run by UF research – learned about clam farming, small touch tank and couple of other tanks. Overall an excellent place. Family is ready to go back. Noseeums we’re bad in evening. Perhaps screening in porch area would help (but then the view out to gulf would t be as clear) Showers are small & there is no tub. Do wish there was a grill other foreman electric (but we cooked in crockpot everyday) and be prepared to schlep your stuff up the stairs.
The house had everything anyone could possibly need. Its location on a dead end street limited traffic and even on a Labor Day weekend it was peaceful & relaxing. We’d go again in a heartbeat.
Beautiful house and beautiful location!! Will definitely be back! I highly recommend this place !

We loved the place so much we already rented for next year.. Perfect location, and the owner Amy was awesome! Everything you needed was there!
We stayed at the Coquina condo at Crescent Beach for four nights. The condo was adequate enough. It is in a quiet location with a private beach and a pool. The pool is not heated so it was too cold to get in. The condo states they had beach chairs so I did not take mine; however they were just regular lawn chairs so not at all comfortable to sit on the beach.
Great place, disappointed with communication about broken shower. Had to use the small shower downstairs, for all of us. Very in convenient.
this was our first time staying in this unit, and our 7th time staying in the complex. we love coquina and we love st augustine! this unit was clean and up to date and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. thanks again
We had a great time and enjoyed the view, the pool, and the close beach. We will definitely be back to vacation in the future. Thanks for sharing your property. Lewis Y.

the cost of this rental is a few hundred dollars per night. the value of this location is a million bucks. i can’t imagine that there is a house closer to the water anywhere on the west coast of florida. you can sit on the porch and also pretty much be sitting on the beach. priceless. loved it. hope to be back.
Stay at this property often. Love everything especially the porch. Just like sitting on the beach but much more comfortable.
We had a great time. Sitting on the porch! The pictures do not do it justice. Fantastic location. Thank you!
Location, location, location … the view is amazing. House was spotless. 2 full baths plus an extra shower inside the house and an outdoor shower to rinse off sand. Rooms are nice size. Everything you could possibly need is onsite with a 24 hour gas station across the street in case you need anything. We will be back.
We had a wonderful stay here. The location is right on the beach making it super easy to go back and forth. We loved sitting on the porch! The house is clean, well stocked and had plenty of room for our family of 5. Great location!!

We loved that the property has its own private access to the beach and the views from the balconies were amazing! We also loved that the owner has all beach equipment you might need, plenty of kitchen supplies, bikes, and kayaks. The communication from owner and property manager was very quick and friendly. We would definitely stay again!
Hurricane Ian was rated Category 4.9, but this property & management are definitely 5/5 ratings! The home was beautiful & we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation before the hurricane made landfall. This house withstood the storm, unlike many of the surrounding homes on North Captiva. Paula, Captain Richie, & Chris have been awesome – they are kind and compassionate- we have new friends in Florida! Chris went above and beyond in getting our luggage back to us from begin evacuated by the USCG after the hurricane. We are planning to return to this property to enjoy more time in this beachfront paradise! Highly recommended!!!
Summer Breeze was everything I wanted during our honeymoon. Plenty of cooking utensils for making meals. The view was absolutely outstanding, with great views of the sunset. We saw dolphins out on the water from the back porch. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing stay.
Everything was excellent! I heard several people that drove by say they have the perfect spot. Because your front yard is the beach.
This property was amazing !! We had everything and anything you could think of that u might need for our week already at the house which was great so u don’t half to pack alot to take across on the ferry ! The views were amazing and just walk out your door and your on the beach which for me was wonderful !! Will be looking forward to booking this property again I can’t say enough about it, it was everything and more !

was clean and perfectly located for all of our biking journeys. also nice view of the Atlantic ocean from our balcony
We really enjoyed our stay. Quiet area, clean house, short walk to everything. Can’t wait to come back!
From the front door, to sitting down on the beach might be 100 steps. I have never, in all my years of beaching, been this close. My in laws went with us this year, and walking is hard on them, but even they were able to make the trip down to the beach and back. Perfect location, you are right in the middle of everything. We flew in, so we had no car, but we were able to walk just a few blocks every night to a new restaurant, plus a dollar store a few blocks behind the house for groceries. The house had plenty of room for my family of 4 adults and 3 kids. It was clean. It absolutely made our entire vacation!!!
The location of this home couldn’t have been better! It was clean upon arrival and had everything we could have needed. I don’t see how anyone could go wrong renting Pier Watch!
The location and beach were absolutely fantastic. Just cross the street and you are at the beach with plenty of space and great water. The wifi and cable were not working in our home. Not a big deal normally but reception was also poor for cell phone signal and with a toddler, it was hard to keep entertained since we couldn’t watch movies/ stream after the fun in the sun. I called and texted property management as instructed and resetting modem/router but never got it functional and never got a response to my texts or calls. Disappointed at the lack of responsiveness. The house also had really stained hand rails up and down the stairs. When we turned on the water in the tub, the water coming out was brown and the tub looked dirty which made me question whether or not we should even use that shower/tub.This house has lots of potential and with a little TLC and a better response from the property management, I would stay again. Until then I will check out other properties in Flagler beach.

We had a great 5 days at the house. Great location in a quiet location. We have stayed all over Fort Myers and this was in our top 3. Easy check in and great communication with the owners. We will be back!! Thanks again!!!!
We loved everything about this. The house was awesome and had everything we needed. The location was perfect!!
The location is in perfect proximity to the beach, restaurants, and various on the water activities. We caught snapper and red fish from the dock and watched a 5.5’ tarpon troll for a before sunrise breakfast thanks to the under water light. The sunrises were amazing and watching the cloud to cloud lightening in the afternoon storms from the panoramic view of the windows was mesmerizing.
We were in town for a baseball tournament and love Fort Myers Beach! This house took everything up a notch with the beautiful views and refreshing pool after a day on the ball fields. The house had everything you could want or need for the week! These owners left nothing to be needed when they stocked the house with so much to use and do, from beach items, appliances, games and fishing off the dock. We truly had an amazing week and experience staying in this house and Kevin and Nancy were always a text away for any question we had. Thank you for letting our family use your beautiful home while we were in town. We hope to be back again! Thank you!
