Karen Burshtein is an award-winning writer and translator based in Canada. While she can't count the number of favorite places she's traveled to on one hand, she does have special memories of visits to Istanbul, Johannesburg, Curacao, Venice, Helsinki, and Amman. She especially enjoys exploring old history while also discovering contemporary culture.
