Amalfi Coast, Italy – Sosóre Holiday Home$222.60/nightly avg

Praiano is a great home base for any Amalfi Coast vacation. Situated between the region’s two biggest towns (Positano and Amalfi), Praiano itself is one of the quieter towns on the strip. This doesn’t mean it falls short when it comes to views, sites, or incredible restaurants. And this wonderful home promises easy access to Praiano and the area.

In addition to the timeless beauty of the Mediterranean, the balcony has an unobstructed view of the town’s medieval fortification. The apartment is divided into two floors, each with a bedroom. Among other nearby delights, the seaside cuisine of Il Pirata Ristorante and beach club are just about a hundred (stair) steps down. Fine food and ocean spray make the climb well worth it.

Perfect stay on the Amalfi Coast! The flat could not have been anymore wonderful! Everything was just perfect! Adele is so special!
We truly enjoyed our experience at this apartment in Praiano! From the day we booked, Adele communicated with us and was available if we had any questions. The apartment is exactly as pictured with spectacular views! We rented a car and Adele was able to confirm a parking spot for us in town. Adele met us upon arrival and spent a few minutes with us going over how to navigate public transport and gave fabulous recommendations for restaurants in the area. Staying in Praiano we were able to easily get around and we’re conveniently located across from a grocery, etc. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you!!
Difficult to put into words the amazing hospitality and attentiveness of owners, location of home and cleanliness and details put into every room. So thrilled we stayed in Praiano when visiting the Amalfi coast but this house specifically was PERFECT!! Hard to believe perfect reviews but trust me every person before us that said it was amazing was 100% honest!! We are already planning another trip for next year and will never consider staying anywhere except for right here hosted by Adele (best host ever bless her) and her sisters! ❤️❤️❤️
Amazing apartment with a gorgeous view! The apartment was very clean, tidy, and well-stocked. You can’t beat the views from either balcony, especially the roof top one. We have traveled extensively in Europe for over 20 years and haven’t met anyone as warm and helpful as Adele. She is such a genuine and sweet human and it was such a pleasure meeting her. She goes above and beyond ensuring your check in and stay is wonderful. She takes great pride in her apartment, as she should, it is beautiful! Thank you for the wonderful stay at your apartment, Adele. We hope to come back one day soon.Leigh and Rick
First, let me say that our host, Adele, hheart and soul

We loved the incredible views of the ocean and coast from this location. We were lucky to have daily views of coastal birds. We saw whales in the distance, dolphins and seals close to the shore. We also were lucky to see condors almost daily. The decor and furniture were comfortable and lovely. The mattresses, bed linens and bath towels were high quality. The kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated the dependable wi-fi as there is limited cell service. Vilia was a great host. Thank you.
This property is spacious and well equipped, in a beautiful spot. The owners were responsive to any problems we had.
Stunning view showcased in a lovely home. My husband and I would just stand and stare out the window. Postcard scenes from every room in the house. Crashing waves. Rocky coastline. Blue water. Endless sky. The home is well stocked, newly renovated and carries with it an interesting history. The owner is responsive and near by if needed. Just a lovely experience.
This property has breathtaking views, and the house is spacious and well furnished with everything you need. Vilia was a wonderful host and made our stay even more enjoyable. Cannot wait to return. S. Mire

We rented this cabin as the third stop on a week across the mountains, and it was a perfect end to a great week. The home itself is both tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We chose it because the style appealed to us, but we also picked this rental because of the amazing view. It didn’t disappoint. We needed to adjust our plans a little bit because of the weather, but we enjoyed quality family time playing games and talking with the backdrop of the Appalachian Mountains through the windows. Communication with the host was easy and quick. If you’re looking for a place with a scenic view within easy driving distance of Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk, this is a great choice.
We really enjoyed our time at Pie in the Sky! They did an amazing job modernizing the house, keeping it super clean, and made sure to include everything we needed. The sunrise can’t be beat and the back deck is perfect for star gazing at night. While the neighboring houses were quite close the neighborhood was very quite and just perfect for our short trip to seven devils!
It’s a breathtaking view from on top of Seven Devils! The vintage roundhouse has been updated with a modern flair and is cozy and comfortable. We had a problem with the door code (it was not what we were told it would be). But the hosts let us in remotely and quickly squared up the issue. The location was perfect for us to go between events and activities in Banner Elk, Boone, and Valle Crucis.
Recently stayed here for Labor Day weekend with my husband and our two teenage sons while visiting our daughter at App State (and attending the football game). House was really one of our favorites we’ve stayed over the past two years! It was well organized and perfect for the four of us! Even my husband enjoyed the quirky layout of a roundhouse! Communication was efficient and we had no issues during our stay. The location was easy to find as well! The views were absolutely breathtaking…especially when the sun is just peeking out in the morning. We will definitely stay here again in the future!!! Thank you!!!
The home was very cozy and comfortable. Close to all the summer time activities.

Perfect getaway. Beautifully appointed. Right on the beach and close to trails, etc.
This is our third year renting from KIG and our second time in the BREEZE. This time, we stayed over Christmas week. KIG is a the best rental company we have ever rented from- they are responsive to every need but more importantly, their properties are jaw-dropping beautiful. They’re exquisitely decorated, wonderfully comfortable, everything you could need! If you rent in Kiawah – these are the folks you need to call and find a place with them. This condo is right on the ocean with a large deck and beautiful view. The beds are unbelievably comfortable and each room is its own oasis. There is plenty of room to spread out in the common areas of the condo. It is truly a magical place that we highly recommend.

From our first contact with Jeanette until we texted them upon our departure, our experience with The Sea Breeze was beyond our expectations. The location could not have been better–a short walk to the boardwalk leading to the beach. The interior of the villa was something out of Southern Living–beautifully restful colors, unique furnishings and artwork, extremely comfortable sofas and chairs and an absolutely great dining table with perfect chairs. Cooking was a dream in the true chef’s kitchen and sitting out on the deck overlooking beautiful landscaping out to the ocean view provided the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever had. The beds were luxurious and I could have stayed the entire time under the rain shower in the master bath. We were just a few minutes away from Freshfields and had dinner one night at Hege’s located there. Delish! Would highly recommend this villa. Our seven long-time women friends had the best vacation ever!

This property was perfect for out stay in Clearwater. The home is very comfortable. The bay is just out the back door and the sunrises are beautiful. The beach was an enjoyable 3-5 min walk from the home and is down a short ways from the pier which made the beach less busy. It was perfect. The property manager, Kirsten, couldn’t have been more accommodating. She was willing to work with us on our arrival time which we really appreciated. She was easy to get a hold of, and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely want to stay there again if we make it back to Clearwater!
What a beautiful little property. Super clean and lots of natural light. Nothings better than waking up with a view of the water. I will definitely stay again!

The rental was awesome filled with all the amenities you need and then some left by previous renters. The property manager was easy to contact and replied quickly to any concerns. The only thing that was bothersome was sitting in the outside balcony bothered by the smell of other renters smoking pot. That was not pleasant.
The condo is huge! Pictures don’t do it justice. It was perfect for my family of 4. You are within walking distance to the beach and everything else you need. We will be staying here again!
Outstanding Condo. Very clean and comfortable. Seeing the sunrise each morning made it more spectacular. Sophia was great with all the details of checking in and was available at any time. There area was perfect…not too crowded and within walking distance to many restaurants and the beach of course. Will definitely be booking again!!!!
Our property faced the harbor and was very beautiful. The 8th floor balcony is optimal for morning sunrises with coffee. The pool and spa were clean and conveniently located. The kids enjoyed using them daily. Property staff was extremely helpfull and communicative.

Very basic, but has everything you need. Nelson was great. Beach is a stone’s throw away.
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Aqua. All amenities we needed were present. Property is very close to Playa Hermosa.
We love Playa Hermosa and it was great to be only 30 seconds away from the water. A great deal for the price. It felt very secluded and we felt like we owned the place. The only (minor) issues were a small ant population sharing the house, and the property alarm set off by motion detection. Great security but when animals or you inadvertently set off the alarm it’s pretty loud and jarring. Air conditioning worked great and the landscaping was beautiful. We would stay here again.

Onsite staff is friendly and helpful and property management is nearby and responsive to your needs.Overall a nice vacation rental but probably overpriced during this period of low occupancy due to pandemic.

Costa Rica – Casa Bella De Osa $225/nightly avg

Relax in tranquil surroundings at this spectacular home on the Osa Peninsula in southern Puntarenas Province on the aptly named Sweet Gulf. The peninsula, dominated by the unforgettable Corcovado National Park, was called one of the most biodiverse on the planet by National Geographic. The park has an incredible array of sites, including the 100-foot King Louis Waterfall.

The house, 10 minutes outside of town, is something else as well, with charmingly unique plant-filled bathrooms that almost feel like you’re showing under water the cascading of a jungle tree. The house has a modern kitchen and backyard pool where the jungle encroaches despite the bamboo fence.

This was my second trip to Costa Rica and nothing compares to this area if you are looking for a real Costa Rica experience. I have a 14 year old and everyone knows how hard it is to get them engaged. We had a fantastic family vacation and I saw her smile more times then I can count. The wildlife is amazing! I’ve used All booking platforms for at least a decade now.. and also a host myself. The couple who owns this property went over and above what was expected with organizing all of our excursions and giving us daily pin points on where to go and what time to be there. The excursions were incredible!! This is the best experience I’ve had with a host in all of the places I’ve stayed. This will be a vacation I will always remember and I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us. If you are looking at Costa Rica and you’re looking for wildlife this is the area to be in. You will not see this anywhere else.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Casa Bella. We had plenty of room, and it would be good for a family as well. Nice open kitchen that opens to a patio, and large bathrooms with amazing showers. 2 minutes to the beach, which is walkable for miles and had great swimming. Nice cool plunge pool for those hot afternoons. Monkeys, macaws, herons and more all nearby. Tracy and Giovanni were great hosts; they will do all they can to help set up excursions, boat rides, hikes, etc. And all 10 minutes from town with restaurants, groceries and shopping.
Giovanni and Tracy were great hosts! They responded very quickly and were very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in instructions were super detail and helpful. Casa Bella was very clean and the showers were amazing, the beds are super comfy. We could not ask for a better location, close to the beach with a lot of access to wildlife and reasonably close to Puerto Jimenez. Very good house for a family with small kids. Overall a wonderful place; we would stay here again easily!
    Nice
Had a great time. Very helpful family. The kids loved the small pool.

Kauai, Hawaii – The Nene Nest$260/nightly avg

Just 152 steps from the ocean, this sugar plantation-style cottage is teeming with tropical energy and ready to be your little slice of paradise. The Nene Nest is located in Kekaha on the west — and sunniest — side of Kauai! The lavish garden lanai, complete with a private lawn area, is perfect for those early risers looking to feel the gentle Hawaiian breeze with a cup of coffee in hand. The Nene Nest’s neutral, earthy decor is sprinkled with beachy floral accents, light oak finishes, and tropical ceiling fans for seeking solace after the sunshine.

Kekaha is considered a true Hawaiian town out of the way of tourists and a splendid location to immerse yourself in the culture of Kauai. Hear grocery-store conversations in the native Hawaiian language, plan to stop for lunch at the Lodge at Kokee, or experience hiking at the exhilarating Waimea Canyon.

It was absolutely charming and magical! We loved the beautiful decor, spacious rooms, and amenities. The beautiful yard was icing on the cake! Thanks for everything! We loved it!
The Nene Nest, built in the 1950s, is such a perfect place to stay on the south shore of Kauai. The yellow and green tiled kitchen, hardwood floors and covered front porch are just a few of the appealing aspects of this cottage. Nene Nest is in a quiet neighborhood, just two houses from the ocean, though it takes a little boulder walking to get down to the small strip of sand. Nene Nest is in a quiet neighborhood (except for the roosters) with a large yard with a gas grill. There are plenty of pots and pans and utensils for preparing meals at the cottage. The location of Nene Nest is at the gateway to the road going up to Waimea Canyon which makes the trip much easier than it would be if you were staying in Poipu. The Canyon is well worth a visit, unless the weather prediction is for clouds obscuring the view.I would highly recommend a stay at Nene Nest.
What a wonderful home! Comfy bed, spacious kitchen, lovely porch — everything was perfect. A terrific home base for our travels around the island. Can’t wait to return.
This property was very close and convenient to most of the major events of my class reunion. We felt secure at the home and was grateful that we had access to wifi and AC. We really appreciated the prompt response to all of our emails and questions. Although we did not need to communicate with the Property Manager during our stay, we appreciated that we had a local manager that we could contact.
The house is set back from the road, so super private and quiet. Located right next to the ocean, with a beach full of the prettiest seashells. The Hawaiian themed furniture in the main room was gorgeous and comfy. There is AC in both bedrooms, which was amazing (and just a few minutes running it instantly cooled the rooms to the perfect temperature). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could potentially need, and included an adorable welcome basket. Both the outdoor shower and indoor showers were great. There was a closet full of supplies and all sorts of beach chairs/boards/coolers were available to use. The lanai had an outdoor table and the yards were full of Hawaiian blooms and birds. The location was great for the areas we really wanted to visit on this trip, including Polihale and the Kalalau Valley. Honestly, this is one of the best homes I have ever rented. The beds were ridiculously comfy, the aesthetic was lovely, and you could tell so much love was poured into every single detail. Would highly recommend everyone stay here! Host was beyond incredible.

Relax on the beach or paddle out in a complimentary kayak — there are so many possibilities even without leaving the property.

Though the location and amazing views are definitely the selling points here, the lodge itself is comfortable. Highly recommended for couples looking to have some alone time in the desert.

Well worth the trip. Basecamp was as described. We had a great time walking the nearby trails and renting a side by side from Tom. We saw about 8 prairie grouse just inside the main gate and a large desert mule deer about 10 points, on a trail close by.
This place is wonderful! Peaceful and quiet. You get to watch them feed the ringtails, skunks, foxes, raccoons, squirrels and chipmunks. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.
It was our second stay with Tom and again it was great! Scenery is amazing around the property and lots of exciting things to do! I’m sure we’ll be back again.
Might me going back for round 2. Great place to reset offgrid. Might be planning out more activities on our next comeback. Dont let hurrah pass doubt you just go for it and you’ll see what most if us are saying.
What a wonderful journey and fun property. Would recommend to anyone seeking an adventure! Tom and Collin were great hosts.

My wife and I had a great stay, just relaxing on the beach and common areas is exactly what we were looking for. If you want pampered resort living with restaurants close by best book a room at a fancy hotel in Honolulu. We stopped at Safeway on the way and picked up our food and drinks for the duration. There were kayaks, snorkel gear and chairs for use. You can’t get much closer to the water that this place, we kept the sliding door open most of the time to let the breeze through and hear the waves crashing. We would definitely stay here again .
Our stay at hauula was perfect! The property was as expected. Check in and check out was seamless. We stayed on the second floor and kept the balcony open most nights. It was magical listening to the waves crash while falling asleep! There were guests downstairs and the waves drowned out any noise from them and/or the street traffic. The jacuzzi is large and a nice addition! My ONLY hesitation to stay there again would be location. Nothing is within walking distance and the closest city/town is dry. It was only a 15 minute ride to dinner where alcohol was served, but I would have appreciated something closer. All in all I would HIGHLY recommend!
Nice place on the water with great views of the ocean. The water was turned off once but other than that it was nice!
Property had supplies for anything you may need indoors and out! View was incredible. Would recommend!
Very comfortable with all the amenities, nice location, beautiful setting. Property manager does a great job keeping things nice, was always there if we needed anything.

We loved the condo- such an excellent unit in a prime location. First class accommodations!
This property is absolutely stunning, and every bit as impressive as the pictures suggest. We found it to be impeccably clean, spacious, and well appointed. The views are just amazing, and we loved being able to walk everywhere. Scott was very responsive and great work with overall. We would highly recommend this property!

We loved our stay! The pool was amazing! The views were beautiful! The fruit trees were awesome. Try the passion fruit! Close to tons of things to do but far enough away to feel like you are on your own private paradise. Sam was an awesome host and even made us breakfast after our long day of traveling. Thank you Sam!
We loved our stay! Great host! The view is absolutely beautiful. We loved our stay in the mountain. Super peaceful and definitely felt like a vacation! Sam is a great host and always available and super friendly and helpful! We loved our new friend Bravo. Our son misses his company! This was our first two nightsout of 9 nights total in Puerto Rico. Our son kept asking us don’t you miss Bravo? We have a big dog at home so he made us all feel right at home along with everything else. The only thing we missed was A/C. The pool is very nice, clean and relaxing. We definitely plan to return. It cools down out night which helps but we are used to sleeping in the cold at home. It was definitely worth the stay and all the beautiful landscaping adds to the view! Thank you Sam for hosting us and fitting us in!!
We loved our stay at this hidden treasure near El Yunque National Forest! The view and the gardens are incredible! It was fun cooking in the outdoor kitchen and Sam was such a nice host. The apartment was very comfortable too. We feel very lucky that we had the opportunity to stay here!
We booked three nights at this awesome property but ended up returning on our last day for a 4th night. The owner Sam was more than accommodating with this request and his communication with us was fantastic. Sam was also the best host we’ve ever had at a rental and added to our enjoyment of staying here. He showed us everything growing on the property (there’s a lot), helped us pick fresh fruit, made fresh smoothies for us, gave a us local advice and was simply a joy to hang out with. He seemed more like a good friend than the property owner. No worries though as Sam isn’t the type who will impose on people who want solitude but we enjoyed his company and were very up front about that.As far as the property itself…it’s simply a little slice of tropical paradise. It’s in a beautiful setting just outside of El Yunque National Park, has about every type of tropical fruit and plants you could imagine, is secluded yet close to San Juan, has views of the ocean in the distance and the mountains on the other side. Simply stated it’s just spectacular and my wife commented that after 10 years together I finally brought her to a place she loves. We loved it so much that we are already planning a return trip. The apartment has everything we needed and although there were just two of us there’s enough space for 4 people if needed and we are planning on bringing our young adult kids next time. The outdoor kitchen is also a great touch.I could go on and on about how great this property is but will leave it at this..for our future trips we will plan the dates around when Sam’s place is available. We enjoyed everything about it and gained a new friend in Sam as well. We can’t thank him enough for the genuine hospitality he showed us but I suspect this is something everyone who stays here would agree with.
We spent a week here in April 2021. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with manicured tropical gardens around the entire premises, including many fruit varieties including papaya, bananas, passion fruit, cherry, sugar cane, and much more. The pool was the perfect temperature, and the trickle of the waterfall at the edge added to the experience. The outdoor kitchen was one of my favorite aspects, where we cooked daily with the large barbecue grill, full cookware, outdoor sync, herb gardens and seating bar. The downstairs apartment is small but is all we needed since we didn’t spend much time indoors. Sleeping at night was so comfortable. I always need A/C, but the cool breeze at night in the mountains was refreshing and I never once missed not having it. The view from the property, with the ocean off in the distance, is stunning, and is perfectly picture framed between palm trees on the property. And then there is Sam – one of the best VRBO hosts we’ve had. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable, whether that was lending us a beach umbrella, or making us a sugar cane and passion fruit cocktail from his sugar cane mill. We fell in love with this property, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you Sam!!!

Scotland – The Great Hall Of Dollarbeg Castle$409.89/nightly avg

A beauty to behold, this Scottish castle also has the benefit of being about an hour away from both Glasgow and Edinburgh. The site began as an abbey in the 13th century and the current neo gothic mansion was built in Victorian times.

As the photos show, it is an elegant and tasteful expression of the Victorians’ fascination with their past. The rooms now open to guests are the building’s former Great Hall. One of the queen bedrooms is decorated in a delightful faux-medieval style while the other is more modern. There is a third room with two twins, a luxurious kitchen and dining room, and a rooftop with excellent views of the surrounding countryside.

Castle did not disappoint. Would stay there again in the future
This was a great stay! A great way to capstone our trip to Scotland. The castle and views were amazing!
This location is awesome. Would definitely stay here again. The property manager was wonderful. The place is such a wonderful retreat. Kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms are wonderful. Be aware that there is lots of step climbing…being that this IS a castle. So, two of the bedroom guest rooms occupants will need to go up and down some steps if they need to. The owners left us champagne, local treats, bread, and milk so we didn’t need to rush to the grocery for provisions in the morning. We loved it here and wished we could have stayed longer.
We had a wonderful few days at the Dollarbeg Castle. The unit was spacious, modern, clean and wonderfully decorated. The check-in process went very well. We also enjoyed the quaint town of Dollar and the quiet/lovely surroundings of the castle. We even had lovely weather during our visit. Our only regret is we had to leave.
Our stay at The Tower in Dollarbeg could not have been better. We were met upon our arrival by the property manager, who showed us around and answered our questions. The property was immaculate, and treats were left to help us settle in without the need for a co-op run the first night. Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay was provided. Views from all of the rooms were spectacular, and dinners on the top were deeply satisfying. I cannot recommend it enough.

The property was just incredible. The setting on the ocean was breathtaking. The kitchen was the most amazing aspect, with all the highest end appliances, cookware and provisions. What a place for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Last but not least the property manager Bruce was so attentive and helpful. Do not think twice about renting this amazing property.. On a five star scale,, this is Easily 6 stars.
Honestly, I have never enjoyed myself and my family more than I did this week at this magnificent property. The property itself had everything anyone could ask for including a private bathroom for four of the bedrooms! The amenities were top notch from the luxurious towels, the sound system throughout the home, and the wonderful television on the lower level that could be your children’s movie theater. The front lawn was immaculately cared for and provided a perfect location for our grandchildren and children to play and frolic and the front porch was fabulous with afternoon shade! The property is within walking distance to Short Sands Beach (8 min stroll) and the town of York. I have never been happier with a host or caretaker! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a relaxing oceanside vacation.
Everything was as presented in the listing!!!
Our favorite VRBO property yet!! Perfect home inside and out!! Unbelievable view!! Even our 3-year old granddaughter kept saying “I love this house”! We all LOVED it!! Highly recommend!!!
Stunning property with upscale amenities. View and convenience great! Would like to have more room on the back patio for large groups, and window treatments on the bathroom closet for private dressing. House manager very friendly, and Nicole’s meals were wonderful and plentiful. Overall fantastic memories with long time friends in a beautiful, spacious house.
