Beautiful place!! Clean, comfortable, so much to do around the beautiful home. Quiet and so relaxing. Love to visit again!
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The owners have gone above and beyond to ensure a pleasant and fun time. We love Beaver Island and are so grateful we had the opportunity to stay on Lake G.
Our stay on Beaver Island was amazing! This rental is beautiful and they have added so many great touches to make this a very special and enjoyable stay. First off, the house is gorgeous and they went the extra mile to provide all the cooking supplies (even some food!), appliances, games, COMFORTABLE bedding, boats and water supplies (and even TV programs! ☺️) to make our stay incredibly comfortable. These items were all of high quality and left me writing down brand names of appliances and bedding that I now want in my home . The house is exceptionally clean and well kept. We all agreed that we’d love to come back and stay again. Thank you thank you thank you!
A delightful house set in a gorgeous location. This was our first vacation to Michigan and we couldn’t have had a nicer introduction than Beaver Island. The house sits almost directly on Lake G and with the large windows and wrap around deck, we hardly took our eyes off the view in the 5 days we stayed. The outdoors is set up beautifully with deck seating, Adirondack chairs by the beach, a hammock on the hill, and a separate fire pit. We used every spot, sometimes at night, to drink in the stars or enjoy the lake. The canoe, kayaks, and paddle boards were perfect and easy to launch into the clear, clean lake. The house is very up to date and comfortable with plenty of space to spread out or gather. The site is remote, about 30 minutes to drive into town, but it was perfect as a quiet, relaxing get away. It is an easy walk to the Lake Michigan beaches as well. We’d book this place again in a heartbeat.
After spending a week at Starry Skies Sanctuary, our family of 4 (mom, dad, teenage boy & girl) agreed this was our all-time favorite rental property. We were looking for a remote, quiet escape where we could do some fishing & spend time together without distractions, & this beautiful home checked all the boxes & so many more! There was quite literally nothing the hosts hadn’t thought of: well-appointed is an understatement! Every pot, pan, dish, condiment, spice, & kitchen gadget we needed was provided. There were plenty of beach towels; health & beauty items; detergents for the washer, dishwasher, & sink; blankets; books; board games; water toys (kayaks, paddle boards, small boat, canoe, floats, life jackets, scuba gear, 4 fishing poles & light tackle)… they really did think of everything! The home was extremely clean & smelled wonderful. Sadly the cloud cover didn’t allow for us to have a clear view of the stars during our stay, but it was still so quiet and peaceful to watch the sunsets & enjoy the calm, breezy evenings on the beach (as long as there is no light… any light source – phone, flame, flashlight – immediately attracts mosquitoes). We loved listening to the loons’ calls. The beach is fine, soft sand & is easy to walk on. There is lots of seating & opportunities to see different types of wildlife. We saw deer, various birds, monarch butterfly caterpillars, snakes, & minnows. The water near the bank is shallow, so it’s great for wading. You have to go out into deeper water to catch fish, though. A few things we learned about the island: 1. Make sure you line up your transportation on the ferry with your arrival & departure dates. I would strongly recommend either bringing a vehicle or renting one as the drive to town is about 25 minutes. Bringing your own car carries extra requirements with the ferry company, so be sure to know those. (The people there are wonderful and easy to work with.) 2. The water on the island smells of sulfur, so we bought bottled water for drinking & cooking. 3. There are no local places in town which sell fishing licenses anymore; they will all direct you to the state website to purchase online. Our T-Mobile phones had almost no service on the island outside the house WiFi, so we had to drive around in town searching for a spot with service to be able to purchase the licenses right before our charter, causing us to be a few minutes late to our boat. Overall, highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Loved great access to beach!
As always, this rental was perfect for our family.
Great location, everything as advertised. If you are looking for a beach front rental for two this is it.
The condo was quaint and is located four stairs up to the beach. Beautiful sunsets!!! The condo owns cozy. I love to cook and was a bit disappointed in the lack of bakeware and the inside of the oven was the only thing that was very unclean. Overall, I would recommend the place. Maybe the cleansing crew should be aware to look the condo over a bit more carefully. Also, we were not left one dishwasher tablet and didn’t know until the night before we were to leave and had to do all the dishes by hand.
Love how people came to the balcony to watch the sunset. The views were amazing. We loved the convenience of the pool and beach being right there. Will definitely return to these condos.

This house was amazing. We had teenagers, toddlers, and infants with us and not one complained….now that’s a great vacation! We have never stayed at a more organized and lovely place. The house was well stocked and everything was labeled. The hosts were amazing and are very informative and helpful. You won’t regret booking here.
This property is Amazing! I have been booking annual family getaways for 10 years- this is in my top 3!! As our family has grown to 17, finding enough space for everyone is a bit of a challenge. This property more than delivered!!Everything is clean and well maintained. The beds were all comfortable (yay for good sleep!!). The pool was a hit with the grandkids and the adults alike! The hot tub was a hit as well. I even got up early one morning and watched a movie with the older grandkids while hanging out in the hot tub. They thought that was the best thing, ever! The kitchen is well stocked as afforded us the opportunity to cook all our meals easily. Tara left a welcome basket of treats that made us feel so welcome in her home. So thoughtful!! The grounds around the house are beautiful with the observation deck over Lake Michigan offering amazing sunsets!!Tara was always quick to respond to questions and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this house!!
This house was wonderful, as it was as good or better than the description and pictures. The house was spacious with plenty of bedrooms and beds. The pool was a big hit with the grandchildren, as was as the daily viewing of the deer out back. Tara was very helpful and extremely easy to work with, as she was very prompt with answers to any questions. We would not hesitate to stay at this house again.
We had a great trip away with family. The kids loved pool!
I can’t say enough positive things about the entire experience! The home is gorgeous, spaceious, immaculate, with more than enough beds for a large group. The surrounding area is just beautiful, also, and the hosts are extremely easy to work with! There were even tons of snacks, drinks, coffee, kitchen supplies (spices, storage bags, etc.) which made it easy to get settled. They literally thought of everything!

5 out of 5 does not do this home justice! I would give it a 10!! Absolutely stunning views throughout the day. The beach was serene even with the workout you get going up and down the stairs 🙂 We loved the hot tub and ample seating space by the home. Our favorite part was the platform with chairs about 1/3 of the way to the beach. The inside of the home was spacious, comfortable, and updated. We were even welcomed with a bottle of wine! I would definitely recommend this home. We will be returning!
Amazing scenery, and neighborhood Property is really cozy and relaxing
This is a beautiful home, very clean, provided all amenities. The view of the lake was amazing to watch the sunset and wake up to the waves. Having private access to a beach was really nice. We will have to come back in the summer. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the house was even more spacious in person. Communication was prompt and our family had a wonderful and restful stay. We will definitely come back again!
The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the views of lake Michigan, the sounds of the waves and the fantastic cottage. Only a short walk down the steps from the cottage to be able to walk on the beautiful wide beach. Extremely clean cottage, very well stocked with kitchen supplies per my wife and great new looking furniture/bed/chairs .. Due to Covid-19 this was the first trip for my wife and I in over 1 1/2 years. ; the beautiful cottage and Lake Michigan beach was amazing and worth the wait!. Highly recommend!
We had such a lovely stay at this home in Muskegon. There were 5 of us, 4 adults and 1 child and we had more than enough space. The house was very clean and provided Norwex products for use during our stay (which was a nice slice of home for me). Location: -The property is on the beach (down the stairs as pictured), and is shallow enough to wade into with wider beach down the way for throwing a football or playing other outdoor games that require more space (we brought bocce ball). -The back of the house faces West, so you have full access to a gorgeous sunset every evening, whether you’re on the beach or up at the house.-Shared drive (the beginning of it – it doesn’t impact your privacy) with Ruth Ann’s ice cream, so ice cream is just a walk away after dinner-Muskegon State Park is next door, so the beach to the left of the property is the state park, which provides the best of both worlds, private space if you want it, or public if not as you move further away from the homeAmenities:-The kitchen here is the best stocked of any rental I have stayed in. They have provided a logical set of supplies (vs. many other places that seem to just throw in leftovers from here and there). There is a full set of pots and pans, a knife block, a large set of dinnerware (including a full set of plastic dinnerware/cups/silverware for the kids), and generally just amenities you would expect at home (i.e. you could make muffins there – from mixing bowl to measuring cup to muffin tin). Three things we wish we would have brought: garlic press (but I just cut it up – no big deal), tupperware (they have pyrex with lids, which were wonderful but take up more refrigerator space and we cooked a lot), tea kettle (there was a sauce pan that we used to warm water). -There are plenty of beach towels-There are beach toys and an umbrella (we had brought our own, but to save the packing space, thought I would re-include here that they do exist and are great options for play)-There is a high chair provided (and a crib listed as available in the house, but I failed to seek it out to know if it is a pack and play or what it is to provide more details), there is a gate in the front closet to block off the stairs to the upstairs if needed-The Hot Tub was clean and relaxing, with the entire outdoor space being lovely to enjoy. Ample seating, and places to sit and have a meal or just sit and enjoy the sunset or read a book. -The couches are comfortable and the decor allows the house to feel like home for the time you are blessed to be there-There are some games/puzzes/coloring books provided, as well as a handful of toys in the basement (mega blocks, hot wheels track, puzzle) Indoors, although we were not there to watch TV, YouTube TV is signed in and there is a Fire TV stick so you can login to your Hulu/Netflix etc., which we used in the evenings to watch moviesNearby:-Putters Creek offers mini golf, kayaking, SUPs, go karts and outdoor yard games, with Norm’s ice cream (cash only) next door-(30 mins) – Pere Marquette Beach – public beach that has lighthouses and a restaurant that offers live music and space to eat either up on the deck or in the sand (The Deck). It was too busy the first day we went around dinner time so we just played at the beach and then tried again for a late lunch and had ample parking and no wait to eat (no live music at that time though) – ensure you pay for parking, we saw a lot of tickets written in the two visits we had-Ships/Submarines to tour, we did the submarine tour for the history lovers in our group-(30 mins) – Grand Haven shops, we navigated to Washington Ave in Grand Haven. There are parking lots or there is street parking (the lot we parked in was free), and I wish we would have planned to make more of a day of it including lunch. Fun area to shop, some restaurants with walk up windows, and lots of ice cream options (sorry for all the ice cream references – I love ice cream) -Fatty Lumpkins – loved the sandwiches we had here (and I love the name)Overall a great stay!

The kitchen, dining area and TV conversation room kept us all close by with a downstairs area for the two teenagers to use when they needed their space. Besides it being roomy yet cozy the view from these rooms are spectacular! We got to enjoy the most colorful sunsets, a brilliant moon accompanied by Jupiter and a blue, emerald green Lake Michigan. All this from inside, it was a bit too chilly for us to sit outside during the evening. Even though we stayed for just a few days it felt like our home on the lake the moment we entered!
Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at! Highly recommend! Couldn’t have been better. Beautiful accommodations right on Lake Michigan. Enjoyed the abundant wildlife of thousands of Monarch butterflies making their south migration, daily visits from a family of deer, squirrels, foxes, an Eagle, etc! Very quiet and very clean. Nicely stocked and very true to the pictures on VRBO. Do yourselves a favor and book this today!
Just a beautiful home, never felt like a “vacation home”, felt more like a family house, very warm. The views are perfection, picture worthy sunsets. House is well appointed, well maintained. Just a perfect vacation, and I hope to be back very soon. Thanks to you both!!!!(Please forward me your cleaning crew’s name, we forgot cash and I want to properly tip. Thanks!!!)
We rented Eminence during our wedding weekend in Ludington. Our family was able to grill and enjoy a bonfire, myself and the bridesmaids had our photographs taken in front of the stunning view of Lake Michigan in the backyard. The house itself is very well maintained and the aesthetic is perfect for a lakeside luxury stay. Everything in the house is updated and we had all the kitchen equipment we needed. Heidi was very communicative and available for any needs. It was a dream to be able to stay here, thank you to Heidi and Wayne for sharing your home with us!! We will surely be back and might even be an anniversary tradition!
Our family of 8 enjoyed all things great about Up North from this beautiful home base in Ludington. Property is peaceful, comfy, clean, tastefully decorated, well appointed and has the best views of Lake Michigan. This is our 3rd trip and we’ll be back!

The house was beautifully laid out and appointed to accommodate our multigenerational family. Our hosts were immediately responsive to any questions we had with helpful tips about the area. The photos don’t do justice to the beauty of the views from every room! The only downside is the access to the beach. It’s a physically challenging climb back up!We would definitely recommend this property. The pool and the hot tub were our family’s favorites.
Property was everything that was advertised and more. Would definitely stay again.
This property is absolutely fabulous. The owners are easy to work with, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are comfortable. The location is private and quiet. Would love to return because our family had such a wonderful time.
Outstanding property…. completely satisfied. Watch to do for all ages. Perfect for our 50th wedding anniversary event with family.

Beautiful setting for a calm vacation. The size of the house, pool and hot tub were perfect for our group (12). We had an issue with the pool and hot tub and Bob came that day to clean and heat them. The bedrooms are air conditioned but the center of the house (kitchen and family room) are hot by 4:00 pm.
This property is spectacular with amazing views of Lake Michigan. You can’t beat the privacy of the location but the closeness to both Ludington and Pentwater. We stayed over the NYE weekend and the Ludington ball drop celebration was definitely a must see! We’d love to come back in the summer to utilize the outdoors more, but we had some snow tubes and was able to use them on the property in the winter. We ran into a few items that we needed to contact the property owner and Doug was incredibly helpful, understanding and responsive. Definitely will be back!
I’ve been all over the world and stayed at many places, but the backyard and the views that came with this well equipped and beautiful home was heavenly. We will definitely be back, worth every penny. The property manager and crew handling the home were very friendly and easy to work with as well which was a plus! Thanks for the memory
It is a beautiful property. The weather was fantastic. The pool was great! Some of the outdoor lights did not work but overall we had a lovely time.

Awesome place, across the street from the beach. Enjoyed the nice walks along the pier.
Amazing location, clean and perfect vacation!
Great location close to the beach and wonderful views from all over the condo. Plenty of room for 4 adults and two teenagers.
This is a great rental with a location and view that can’t be beat! Unit has a brand new kitchen with high end appliances and two balconies both overlooking Lake Michigan. The public beach is steps from the front door and the shops and restaurants in town are a 15/20 minute walk along the water. You are renting one unit of a duplex and the owners live in the other unit and are great hosts. I was concerned by other reviews warning that the air conditioning, which works extremely well on the main floor, does not reach the bunk beds in the loft…that was true during the day when the sun was at its brightest, but was not a problem at all at night when my kids were going to sleep. The room cooled off both nights. There was a fan in the loft but they never needed to turn it on.
I wanted to be close to family camping at the state park and was happy to find this property. The gas grill on the patio was great and easy to use and the home was spacious.
