Growing up, Cabo San Lucas had such a reputation for party culture that it never dawned on me that someone would plan a family trip to the Baja California Sur beach hub.

Turns out, I had conflated Cabo San Lucas’s spring break chaos with its year-round identity—which couldn’t be farther from the truth. Cabo has plenty to offer aside from strong cocktails and poolside DJ sets. In fact, the list is pretty long, running a gamut from boutique shopping to coastal hikes to art walks to cooking classes.
And while plenty of those activities are great for families, Cabo is still a place where adult adventures abound—whether that’s a silent afternoon at the spa or a rose-petal-covered suite to come back to at the end of a day in the sunshine.
Here’s where to find adults-only resorts in Cabo San Lucas, whether you want a wellness-focused getaway, an adventurous romp, or a chic stay. Remember: Most adults-only resorts have that feature as part of the property name, while other resorts have adults-only sections. I’m calling the latter ‘semi-adults-only’ resorts.
Adults-only resorts in Cabo San Lucas
Le Blanc Spa Resort (All-inclusive)

This five-star, luxury resort is for anyone who wants a gilded vacation. There are live music shows under the stars, a full-service spa with cutting-edge treatments, and swim-up bars in oceanfront pools. As with any luxury five-star all-inclusive stay, you can expect world-class service—including champagne delivered by professional butlers.
Paradisus Los Cabos (All-inclusive)

This 4.5-star luxury resort has an expansive private beach that comes with concierge service. That’s a pretty rare find, making this adults-only resort ideal for those who like to relax in the sand. The lagoon-style pools are also a treat, as you can lounge by the water with unspoiled ocean views. Paradisus Los Cabos is also lauded for its delicious on-site restaurants.
Riu Palace Baja California (All-inclusive)

Riu promises an elevated stay at this 4.5-star property. Your stay comes with unique amenities, including free water park access and fitness classes at the on-site health club. There are also seven restaurants to choose from, and even a grocery store/convenience store on-site. If you’re a coffee snob, you’ll also enjoy the on-site café that offers specialty drinks. I think Riu Palace’s Art Deco design is also worth shouting out—it adds a dreamy twist.
Breathless Cabo San Lucas (All-inclusive)

Breathless Cabo San Lucas is a 4.5-star resort that’s perfect for lively travelers who want to have fun. There’s an on-site nightclub and a poolside bar that turn up the fun, too. When you’re in the mood for downtime, you can book a treatment at the full-service spa or take one of the fitness classes offered at the gym.
Marquis Los Cabos (All-inclusive)

Billed as a sanctuary, the 4.5-star Marqui Los Cabos has everything you could need to spoil yourself. There are beachfront infinity pools that feel like they spill into the ocean. The restaurants serve up delicious food with thought-out, colorful presentations. The resort also hosts morning beach walks and sunset cocktail hours. If you like a hotel that packs a visual punch, look no further. The property is beautifully maintained with a chic but vibrant design.
Secrets Puerto Los Cabos (All-inclusive)

Secrest Puerto Los Cabos is a 4.5-star resort that delivers on everything the Secrets brand is known for: refinement, indulgence, and romance. You can book a range of activities, from couples yoga to archery to body wraps at the spa. At night, you can eat your way through the resort’s seven restaurants, then hit the nightclub.
Hotel El Ganzo

Hotel El Ganzo is a four-star adults-only hotel and, unlike the resorts listed above, is not all-inclusive. The property comes with a marina, golf course, full-service spa, and four on-site restaurants. If you like to stay active during your vacation, Hotel El Ganzo has plenty to keep you busy. Still, if you prefer to drop off the map with a little beachside vacation, you can also do that.
ME Cabo by Meliá

This 4.5-star adults-only resort isn’t all-inclusive, as with Hotel El Ganzo. At ME Cabo, you can expect a lively atmosphere, as there are often poolside DJs playing. Still, you can plan to relax thanks to the beachfront views, the full-service spa, and the yoga classes offered in the fitness center. Some rooms also come with direct pool access.
