Disney Wish, Disney’s newest and most magical cruise yet, will set sail as early as June 2022. Travelers of all ages and interests will find something to love on this cruise. Youngsters will love the water activities, and adults will enjoy swanky and exclusive dining options.
The recently debuted cruise is enchantment-themed, and cruisers will sense the magic every which way they turn.
“How [the enchantment] motif is expressed throughout the design will be as much a reflection of the ship’s distinctive personality as of the wide range of stories that will be represented on board, from Disney and Pixar to Marvel and Star Wars,” said Evily Giannopoulos Peros, a Public Relations Manager on the Disney Signature Experiences team.

A Cruise For All Cruisers
An alluring variety of experiences will be available to guests aboard Disney Wish.
Traveling with youngsters? They likely won’t run out of fun activities during the entire 3- to 4-night cruise experience. Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure and Worlds of Marvel are two interactive dining experiences the kiddos will not soon forget.

For fun in the sun, AquaMouse, which descends 760 feet from the upper deck, includes animated shorts, show scenes, and “splashtacular surprises.” Disney Wish will have multiple pools to explore, including a six-pool, comprehensive Mickey-themed district and a toddler-friendly Toy Story water district.
At Fairytale Hall (one of many dazzling halls on the ship!), youngsters might see glimpses of their all-time favorite characters at activity rooms like Rapunzel’s Art Studio and Ana and Elsa’s Sommerhus. Best yet, to enter the Oceaneer Club, adventurous kids will enter through a super-secret slide entrance. That’s just cracking the surface, as Disney has yet to reveal all of the tricks up their sleeve for Disney Wish.

For mature travelers, four offerings stand out from the pack. Star Wars: Hyper Space Lounge is the swanky getaway Star Wars fans had no idea they needed in their life until now. It’s designed as a futuristic bar aboard a spaceship, with intriguing beverages faring from the likes of Batuu, Tatooine, and Mustafar. Beauty and the Beast-inspired Palo Steakhouse is the recipe for a luxurious date night with what we can only guess is a superb menu.

Adults-only Quiet Cove is a respite from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the cruise. It’s equipped with a bar, cafe, and best of all, an infinity pool. A dining experience for adults called 1923 honors Disney’s history in an exquisite, plush dining space highlighting traditional California cuisine.
In addition to dining spaces, there are also screening rooms to enjoy a plethora of Disney films both old and new, tried and true. If you’re in the market for some R&R (aren’t we all!), Senses Spa pampers and soothes.
The Ship Is Fuel-Efficient
Disney Wish will run on natural gas.
“The ship is the first of three on order from the cruise line, all larger than its existing four ships, coming in at 144,000 gross tons, but will have the same number of staterooms: 1,250. All three will be powered by liquefied natural gas, a cleaner burning fuel than the diesel most ships use now,” reported the Orlando Sentinel.
