Kirsten is an award-winning family travel writer and content creator based in the Dallas area. As a former bilingual teacher of Puerto Rican descent, she believes travel is the best form of education and feels fortunate she can teach her children about different cultures, having traveled to over 25 countries with her family. She is the owner of Kids Are A Trip, a travel website inspiring families to explore the world beyond their backyard; for families looking to plan trips with their extended family, Kids Are A Trip also focuses on multigenerational vacations.
Kirsten is a former Travelocity brand ambassador whose work has been featured by NBC, The Washington Post, MSN, Bravo TV, AFAR, and various other national publications. She loves traveling the world and sharing her latest adventures.
