St. Lucia Sale
The St. Lucia tourism board is launching a massive summer sale to spur tourism on the Caribbean island. The sale includes more than two dozen accommodations, including boutique inns, bed and breakfasts, wellness retreats, and even luxury hotels.
For example, Marigot Bay Resort is offering up to 60 percent off its normal rates and the uber-luxurious Jade Mountain is offering a seven-night stay for the price of five. You can find all the accommodation discounts here.
Tours On Sale
The summer sale also includes specialty tours during your stay. Score deals on horseback riding, ziplining, private sunset cruises, and rum and chocolate tours.
You can get up to 20 percent off this walking tour, which includes stops at historic buildings, locally-owned shops, and authentic restaurants.
Consider skipping the car ride from the airport to your hotel (the roads are narrow and winding) and opt for an island ferry instead. This one is offering 15 percent off rides from St. Lucia’s Hewanorra International Airport and many island hotels. It’s a great way to see the island’s beautiful coastline!
About St. Lucia
St. Lucia is 27 miles long, about 14 miles wide, and is covered in rainforests, mountains, and volcanic beaches. The Caribbean island is known for its many reef-diving sites, hiking trails that lead to majestic waterfalls, pristine beaches, and island delicacies like saltfish and green figs. Updated Travel Guidelines
As of April 2022, St. Lucia no longer requires a COVID-19 test to enter the island for fully-vaccinated travelers. Visitors must show proof of vaccination upon entry. Unvaccinated travelers ages 5 and above must present a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken within 5 days of arrival. All travelers, regardless of vaccination status, must fill out a health screening form to gain entry.
