Carol Stigger served as communications director for international charities for 25 years, then changed her focus to domestic and international travel. She has explored more than 50 countries to document social justice issues in developing nations, as well as luxury and budget travel, particularly in Italy. Her work has garnered several awards, including being named the “The Story Woman” by the International Microcredit Summit. Her motto is "Not all who travel are lost," and she has been lost in a number of interesting places.
