Seeking out a romantic destination can sometimes be a tricky game. You want more than a perfect destination — you want a romantic place to stay, perhaps trying to avoid hotels. You want great spots to dine, be entertained, and shop. You’d love to fly to Switzerland, but it’s not in the budget. Allow us to introduce you to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, also known as Little Switzerland of the Ozarks, in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.

    Videos by TravelAwaits

We’ve selected a dozen cabin options — all of which are wonderful in their own right. You’ll find that many of these are specifically set up for couples, offering a one-bedroom, one-bathroom cozy setup for the ultimate private getaway for couples seeking exactly that. There are some larger options, too, but if your focus is on privacy and peace, we’ve got you covered.

If you’re not sure what Eureka Springs is all about, fear not, you will find plenty of things to do in this little mountain town, including a good number of places to eat, and lots of reasons to give it a try. Having personally experienced this beautiful destination, I think you’re going to be glad you made the trip.

My husband and I wanted a quiet getaway for our Anniversary and this did not dissapoint. Location was wonderful quiet up in the trees but a quick drive to down town Eureka. Definitely look forward to staying again, Kathy was wonderful and helpful and just made the trip very low worry.
Enjoyed our stay and the host was a big help when we couldn’t figure out the TV.
Thank you so much fir being very accommodating when we had to bring our kids. We loved the location of the cabin. It was secluded in the woods but still close to town. We plan to stay here again.
Perfect stay for the weekend while we were in town for the Jeep Jam. Just minutes from downtown but yet far enough away for some R&R. You do have some road traffic noise but not enough to be annoying. The cabin was clean & spacious for the two of us. Loved the jacuzzi. Downside is that the bedroom & jacuzzi is upstairs. If you’re one that gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom you will need to turn on the main lights in the lower level to see where you are going. The first step going down isn’t as wide as the others & they are slick. Especially if you have wet feet from the jacuzzi. The shower was large with double heads. Plenty of bathroom counter space for both to be getting ready at the same time. We never cooked anything but appeared to have plenty of cookware. Plan to do dishes daily as there are only 2 spoons and a small supply of dishes. If you visit the cave on the property it’s about a 1/2 mile & remember bug spray & a flashlight.
The cabin was perfect! Beautifully located but still close to downtown.

Situated on a dead-end street, you’ll find plenty of privacy but enough room for a boat trailer or jet skis if that’s your thing. Then, step out back to the deck where you’ll find a six-person table and hot tub overlooking over a half-acre lot for your pets to enjoy.

Great location. Spacious property. Will go back again.
Spent five nights in this super spacious cabin in quiet convenient to downtown location. Inside of property was clean and well organized. The outside deck could use some additional attention. The backyard is fenced, but very sloped and unkept. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!
Lovely retro home with lots of space and a really great deck to enjoy the beautiful trees surrounding the home. Thanks for all the supplies in the well stocked kitchen and baths. Comfortable beds, open concept with beautiful and unique decor.
We all agree that we would rent this property again. Upon entering it gave a warm relaxing atmosphere. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their privacy when needed. We enjoyed the privacy and spent a lot of time on the deck. It was clean and providing you with additional cleaning supplies for those just in case moments. Very quiet neighborhood and easy access to restaurants, shopping and events.
We enjoyed staying at PJ’S Perch. Plenty of room for 5 adults and our two dogs loved running around in the large fenced yard! We more than likely will rent again for our next trip to Eureka Springs!

Tom and Debbie have really thought of everything…. A welcome dessert in the refrigerator, printed maps and information, umbrellas, well outfitted kitchen and bathroom, a heated bathroom floor, whimsical decor in the cabin and around the property, soothing landscape water features, private outdoor deck, good TV service, comfortable furniture, keyless entry, walking distance to historic district and the condition of everything is excellent. I couldn’t really say anything negative
Loved it! It was very nice. The cabin was the perfect weekend get away.
What a great place for a relaxing romantic stay. The property is beautiful and within easy walking distance to downtown and all the shops.
Tom & Debbie are wonderful hosts! Cabin was beautiful, cozy, and quiet! What a lovely place to stay!
This property and the hosts provided a peaceful, comfortable and safe environment nestled in the woods worthy of the name. We left rested, revived and thankful to have been allowed to share this place with the owners. If you have the opportunity to go we think you will be blessed also.

We had a wonderful time. The property and surrounding area are both gorgeous. Loved it!
My wife and I celebrated our 46th Anniversary this weekend. We stayed in the Hideaway. It was very clean, quiet and equipped with everything we would need. What would have made it perfect is if it had a bathroom up stairs in the bedroom. We would definitely stay there again but maybe in one of the cabins with a bathroom in the bedroom. Thank you for making our Anniversary weekend memorable.
    It was a beautiful place!!
This cabin was beautiful, extremely clean, the decor and furnishings were also perfect! Very convenient to town and the store but you feel like you’re way out in the country. We will definitely be staying in this Hideaway Cabin again soon!
Beautiful property with lodge decor and loft bedroom. Must be okay with stairs! Immaculately kept. Nice fluffy towels and all the amenities you need. Had a lively time. Will be back!

Great place, but driveway is not motorcycle friendly.
We loved the cabin. We struggled a little getting the motorcycles in and out but it was well worth the hassle. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
We enjoyed hanging out at the cabin after our adventures. There are cabins near by but not close enough to hear them or feel crowded. We enjoyed the quiet evenings on the deck.
Very clean cabin in the woods! When exploring the cave, be sure to give yourself an hour. Highly recommend!
We had an awesome stay at Kathy’s place. The location was perfect, out of town but still so close. Very remote and beautiful. The on property hiking trail and cave was SO cool (bring flashlights, we forgot and it would of made it so much better!) Kathy communicated with me quickly and I even forgot my hair straightener at the cabin and she mailed it back to me in Texas! Highly recommend staying at this location for your stay in Eureka Springs

This property was perfect for our wedding week. Our cabin was secluded from the others. The trail and cave were remarkable. The owners were wonderful to work with. They were very responsive to all our questions.
Fantastic Better than expected, beautiful property
    Will return !
We enjoyed this little cabin. It had everything we needed. Secluded and peaceful. Take a hike (about a mile round trip) to the cave on the property. Very neat! Watch out for raccoons at night. They like to enjoy your front porch too!
A very cozy spot for my wife and I. Perfect amount of space in a great location. We enjoyed the large tub very much. It was very roomy. Would recommend.

In love with the coffee machine! Very clean. Easy parking. I only wish there were blinds for more privacy and because in the am it was so bright! Bed was extremely firm. (A bit too hard) Linens were nice. Even the front porch was clean.
I very much enjoyed my stay at Loblolly. The cabin was just the right size for me and my canine companion. Everything we did was close and convenient. We enjoyed rocking on the front porch a lot too! It’s a bit noisy at times but you get used to it. I’d like to rent the log cabin next time.
It was fun staying in a cabin (separate building). My mini aussie loved being there I think more than we did. It is close to downtown and all of the flea markets. The bed was very comfortable. And no carpet so my fur baby didn’t leave a mess behind for the owners to clean up. (I brought along my trusty dust mop that I use every day at home.)
Extremely clean, and a beautiful spot that’s far enough from downtown Eureka for some quiet but also close enough to get to anything at a moments notice. Check in and checkout was really straightforward, and the property was very well cared for and clean. One thing to note is the property is directly next to the highway, so it can be a little bit loud when sitting outside exiting the day when semi trucks pass. (Otherwise you can’t hear anything inside the building.) I did message management a couple of times prior to checking to ask questions about the property, but never heard back from them. I know there’s about a dozen properties managed by the same group so that may have been the reason for the lack of response, but I thought it was important to mention.
We enjoyed staying here and will probably come back eventually

Great accommodations! Private deck, full kitchen and a very comfy bed. It is a little bit of a walk to all the action downtown but worth it. We are frequent travelers to Eureka Springs so we will absolutely keep this place in mind.
We stayed here for the recent BBBQ rally. Great location. Good place to park motorcycle. Easy check in and out. Clean!
Comfortable bed, all the essentials for a short stay for one or two guests. Not too long of a walk to downtown during the day, though the streets are uneven and sometimes steep. Too far to walk at night after dinner. If you are okay with a short drive, this is a good spot!
I was in town for a photography workshop and loved staying in the cottage. Walking distance, though often up steep hill – it’s Eureka Springs after all, to most destinations. I regret I didn’t have more time to sit out on the deck. Plenty of room for me and my gear. Hosts were good communicators. Check-in was super simple. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved everything about this place. Great location, easy parking, small and cozy- perfect for two! Loved the deck- it’s in the back of the house away from main and we saw deer and a awesome albino squirrel while we enjoyed our morning coffee. Bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again

Just my friend and I stayed here and we’re in our 40s so we had no problems with the super steep stairs but would not recommend to anyone who has mobility issues. Other than that we loved our stay we wanted to stay in a historic place down on spring street and it met our needs!
We loved staying in the Bodie House. It was very clean and comfortable and the perfect location along Spring Street – our favorite part of town. Very quiet neighborhood. We loved all the detail and Victorian charm of the Bodie and there was great communication from the owner.
What a neat little cottage! Perfect location & size for our 2 couples. A little updating of the shower would make this place just about perfect but still a great place to stay. Bedrooms & showering are all downstairs so know that going in. Hosts were absolutely wonderful. Parking on the street was plenty for our 2 vehicles as well
The home was cozy, clean and inviting. The location was AMAZING! Sadly,I didn’t read the reviews and wasn’t clear on the placements of the bedrooms and narrow staircase leading down. This is not a home to take anyone with physical limitations. Although there is a sleeper sofa on the main floor it wasn’t ideal for my 73 year old mom. The shower in the basement wasn’t as I would have liked either. However, the claw foot tub was amazing for a soak. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home. Eureka Springs was wonderful!
Unique home, nestled in the neighborhood that is just steps away from downtown. Enjoyed the well furnished kitchen, the views, and the ease for getting to the shops and restaurants. Right by a trolley stop!

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Eureka Springs at Rose Cottage. Perfect in every way!
It was like a fairytale cottage. We absolutely loved it!
I’ve stayed in this lovely cottage before and plan to return; this is a secluded, comfortable and beautiful cottage conveniently located close to the historic downtown area. Everything you need for a fun getaway spot – impeccably maintained and beautifully decorated. Love the views and the quiet. Also appreciate the kind responsiveness of the owner. This is a gem!
My sister wanted a Lord of the Rings themed bachelorette party. I was so excited to find this place. Though not a hobbit house, it had all the charm we were looking for. We enjoyed coffee on the back porch in the mornings. There were two beds so we never bothered each other. The small kitchen allowed us to save money eating out by cooking. I will definitely stay here again.
Rose Cottage is a super cozy stay in a great location to access everything downtown. Highly recommend.

The property is located in a quiet and quaint street.Parking was ok. If a person is older this wouldn’t be the place for them. A very steep and narrow ladder to loft where the small bed is located. Not easy to get up and down for an older person. You pay $60.00 for cleaning and a note is left to wash your dishes.
Cute and clean. Had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Only real complaint was the steep stairs to the loft bedroom. It was more like a ladder than a staircase. We kept the bathroom light on as not to fall down the stairs if we got up in the middle of the night. My wife almost fell once but luckily was holding on to the railing. As long as you don’t mind being cautious as to the stairs… it’s a great place to stay. Quiet, private and close to downtown. Would come back again.
Wonderful stay, quiet, romantic, close to downtown, great outdoors with lots of deer, squirrels, & a beautiful woodpecker..
Great place. The bed is up stairs and the stairs are very steep. It’s time for a new mattress. Overall very nice place.
Everything about our stay was perfect. We made some wonderful memories for our 20th Anniversary at this quaint lil place full of romance, right in Eureka Springs. Our host was very kind and generous and available if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend.
