It’s called The Introvert Travel Agency, and it’s a new pop-up that’s heading to cities around Europe. The goal of The Introvert Travel Agency is to highlight Sweden as an introvert’s travel paradise—and also empower travelers to learn how to seek out destinations that meet their tranquility-focused needs.
Here’s what you need to know about The Introvert Travel Agency, now live in Sweden and with three planned pop-ups in Berlin, Paris, and London in the coming months.

Here’s the rub: Sweden has a small population with big natural wonders. If you like a little space to yourself surrounded by Mother Nature, you’ll do well in the country. Plus, Swedish people are known (generally speaking, of course) for their aversion to chatter.
The Introvert Travel Agency, at its simplest, helps you find your perfect no-small-talk-needed destination in Sweden. Head to the home page, then take a short quiz. It’ll give you suggestions on where to visit by selecting multi-day tours by rail, cruise, and more.
The trips run from four to nine days. Even better, you can select your departure country to make sure the trip aligns with your needs, expectations, and arrival routes. The tours listed on the Introvert Travel Agency are run by trusted companies that Visit Sweden works with. In other words, you’ll be in good hands with vetted tour groups that have plenty of experience.

Personally, I recommend heading north if you visit Sweden—even in winter. I visited the university town of Umeå, which served as a base for venturing further into the northern stretches of the country. I highly recommend the local Norrland YMCA for an affordable stay. (It’s still fun to stay at the YMCA—I promise.)
