This study comes from HotelTonight, a booking platform that lets you snag last-minute room rates for discounted prices. The company surveyed hundreds of registered users to glean what types of airport habits anger passengers the most.
These are the unwritten rules that are likely to anger your fellow travelers:
- 40% of respondents said they hated an armrest-hogger
- 39% of respondents dislike impatient passengers who stand up right when a flight lands
- 27% of respondents can’t stand noisy conversations on flights
- 25% of respondents get angry when they see others join an earlier boarding group
- 20% of respondents are bothered when passengers ask to switch seats with them
