La Quinta Resort & Club is a historic Palm Springs property that’s been open since 1926. It’s one of the area’s first luxury resorts, which spans around 45 acres. It was renovated in 2024 to preserve its Spanish Colonial architecture and zhuzh up its on-site golf course and similar facilities.
You might also recognize the grounds from The Golden Wedding, which filmed the wedding ceremony between the finalists in The Golden Bachelor.
La Quinta Resort & Club recently partnered with AutoCamp Joshua Tree, a glamping resort located just outside Palm Springs. The property is home to Airstream trailers and cabins, along with basic amenities like an outdoor pool, free bicycles, and a restaurant.
While the properties offer two very different SoCal experiences, both are located in a beautiful desert setting. To capitalize on this natural splendor, La Quinta Resort and AutoCamp Joshua Tree have launched a brand-new three-day package designed to make you fall in love with the desert.
Inside The Desert Odyssey package

So, what does this dual-threat package look like? And where’s the middle ground between a luxury resort like La Quinta and a glamping spot like AutoCamp Joshua Tree? In short, it’s a package that lets you take on the best of both those worlds with a curated, mindful itinerary.
Here’s what you can expect from The Desert Odyssey package:
- Night One: Settle into La Quinta Resort & Club, then enjoy cocktails at The Plaza
- Night Two: Leave behind Palm Springs to transfer to AutoCamp Joshua Tree, where you’ll enjoy a ready-to-cook package from La Quinta chefs to prepare at AutoCamp—along with a bespoke s’mores-making setup by the fire pit
- Night Three: Head back to La Quinta to enjoy all the on-site spa has to offer, then kick up your feet as you sip on cocktails poolside and soak in all the desert has to offer one last time
