Visit Panama City Beach has rolled out a brand new concept called Beachcomber Barry’s Bucket List Passport. It involves activities like dance socials, art classes, golf challenges, and even a senior prom.
If you’re going to weather the winter this year in Panama City Beach, either as a part-time resident or as a vacationer, consider picking up a Bucket List Passport. There’s most likely an event schedule during your trip this winter season.
Here’s what you need to know.
How to take part in Panama City Beach’s Bucket List Passport program
The passport program is named after Barrie Ainslie, Director of Visitor Services for PCB’s tourist council, Visit Panama City Beach. He’s been a local for fifty years, meaning he knows that it’s not just the weather that brings winter birds back to PCB year after year. It’s also about community and social connections.
The Bucket List Passport makes it easy for visitors and winter residents to join the city’s social calendar. You can pick up a passport at the Visitor Center, which you’ll ‘stamp’ as you attend the city’s signature winter events. Those who manage to make each event will receive small prizes like a coffee mug and be entered into a VIP raffle.
