Life coach Shelley Weiss Cohen was born and raised in the Chicago metropolitan area. She earned an M.A. in counseling psychology from Northwestern University and has worn several hats over the course of her career as a counseling psychologist, retired adjunct professor of psychology, public speaker, and life coach since 1998. She is the founder of Shelley Weiss Cohen, Inc.
Shelley’s specialty is helping women at midlife and beyond design and implement customized retirement plans for the next chapter. She also helps clients improve relationships, work through grief and loss, and feel great about themselves at any age. In addition to her role as life coach, Shelley is a baby boomer who enjoys hiking, canoeing, archery, travel, gardening, and touring historic homes. She believes that a full and satisfying life is the key to aging with a sense of purpose, joy, and well-being.
