Byron Edgington is a retired military and commercial helicopter pilot. With 50+ years in the cockpit, he logged 12,500 hours, flying all over the world, including 2,500 tours of Kauai. A former US Army Warrant Officer pilot, Edgington flew helicopters in Vietnam, then had a commercial career lasting 42 years. He’s written for Parents magazine, Rotor & Wing, The IOWAN, Flying, and other publications. His recently published book, PostFlight: An Old Pilot’s Logbook, is an Amazon best seller.
