Already, companies like Under Canvas have launched nationwide locations, while individual locations have also popped up around the country—including in non-camping zones like New York City.
Glamping, to put it simply, is the best way to experience the outdoors if you’re a traveler who has little to no interest in the great outdoors normally. But let’s say you’re a more travelerd glamper—one who has taken on scenic campsites around the country in spring, summer, and autumn.

As glamping companies become more specialized and gain more experience, more are releasing winter-ready programs. In other words, you can stay in a glamping tent (or another form of shelter) even during the depths of winter. At least at select sites. (For now, most glamping sites shut their canvas flaps from October to April.)
