Waiting for your sign to join TSA PreCheck? It just arrived.

Earlier this year, the TSA announced a new program called Families on the Fly. The goal is to allow families to enter security lines that are made for families, letting them coast through security without so much stress. Plus, they could access discounted fees for families enrolling in TSA PreCheck.
The initiative is one of many that the TSA has undertaken this year in order to streamline air travel.
And the TSA just sweetened the deal by offering a limited-time BOGO sale for families that sign up for TSA PreCheck. Here’s what you need to know.
TSA offering BOGO deal for TSA PreCheck via Families on the Fly
Again, the goal of Families on the Fly is two-fold. First, to simplify the security screening process for families, especially those with many little ones and specialized equipment like strollers. Second, to encourage passengers to join TSA PreCheck.
Here’s how it works.
Couples that enroll in TSA PreCheck during the promo period will get $15 off their second enrollment. (Enrollment costs between $59-70.) In other words, one person gets a $15 discount. All children 12 and under can join their families in the TSA PreCheck line for free, but kids between 13-17 must have a KTN to join you in the PreCheck line.
There are a few important things to know before signing up. First, the offer isn’t eligible for renewals—this needs to be your first time joining TSA PreCheck. Second, you need to enroll at the same time as another passenger to get that $15 discount. Third, the promo works for the third, fourth, fifth, and so on—meaning if you’re a family of six, you’ll get a total discount of $75.
This offer ends on December 31, 2025.
