Commanders Cottage

Great location just a very short walk to the beach. Plenty of food/shops nearby. The kids loved the ocean. We got them some “boogie boards” and they had a blast. Our only complaint, and it’s not really, was the web site showed two single beds in a bedroom but they were bunk beds. Everything worked out though. We would stay here again.

Clean and convenient location and access to beach

The Commander’s Cottage is so close to the beach which we loved. We had no desire to stay in those oceanfront resorts, so this house was perfect. The provided so much. We didn’t realize until mid week that their were lots of beach supplies too like chairs, umbrellas, toys etc and even beach towels. We would stay here again!

Dwane and Jeanna have been married for over 29 years. Jeanna has been a stay at home mom while Dwane served 22 years in the US Navy. We have two young adult children.

Why they chose this property

We choose Myrtle Beach because Dwane's grandfather had lived here for 22 years so we are a little familiar with the area. Unfortunately, Dwane's grandfather had dementia and passed in 2019.

What makes this property unique

This home is across the street from the beach. A pool and barbecue area is also part of the small HOA. As a newer home, it has all the benefits and amenities of newer construction. We hope you will enjoy our beach house as much as we do.
