Born with an intense travel bug, I always dreamt of working independently from where ever I desired to stay for the next few months while experiencing other cultures than my own at a slow pace. At 45 I was able to retire early. My kids by that time were independent so I was free to fulfill my most precious wish to live a nomadic life. Little could I hope for the immense luck to find my soul mate George on my travels in South Africa who was able to join me since then. Now we travel together as Grey World Nomads around the world, hoping to inspire people with the same wish to retire early and travel the world at a slow pace. On our blog we write about how to achieve the goal to live the wild life as Grey World Nomads and where to find exciting destinations with personal experiences, insider tips and hidden gems. Loving nature and wildlife we traveled Southern Africa and some islands in the Indian Ocean extensively. Our travels also lead us to South America, where we had some unforgettable experiences as volunteers with woolly monkeys in Ecuador and hiking in the Sierra Nevada of Colombia. At the moment we are based in Burgundy, France, from where we travel Europe with our old but cozy camper “Montana”.
