It seemed almost inevitable that we, Jonathan and Sarah, would one day meet: two independent retired travelers from different corners of the globe, we shared a bond that many travelers experience: a mutual love of adventure and a belief that the planet is a better place when people leave their comfort zones and discover new lands and cultures. So, when our paths finally crossed in Chaing Mai, Thailand we quickly struck up our relationship and began exploring the world together. This retirement travel blog isn’t about budget travel, but there is certainly a bit of that. It isn’t about luxury travel, but there is an element of that too. We may occasionally strap on a backpack and go to some pretty remote places, but we are not “backpackers”. LifePart2 isn’t all about minimalism, but we use minimalism as a tool (“the luxury of little“) to enable us to live this lifestyle. This may be a retirement travel blog, but it isn’t specifically about retirement either, but we do hope to motivate our fellow baby boomers to travel more and have some retirement adventures of your own. We are a retirement lifestyle blog about possibilities, experiencing the full spectrum of life and living in ways that are interesting and appealing.
