Next year, Disney Cruise Line will celebrate its 25th anniversary at sea with new experiences for its travelers. There will be limited-time “Silver Anniversary at Sea” offerings on all five of its ships from May to September 2023.

Whether returning as a member of our Castaway Club or sailing with us for the first time, we are thrilled to invite guests of all ages to be a part of our very special anniversary festivities next summer.”
Silver Anniversary At Sea
Just when you thought Disney cruises couldn’t get better, they are throwing an anniversary celebration like no other. The summer sailings will have new entertainment, exclusive enhancements, new décor and merchandise, and other surprises along the way.
A few of the limited-time experiences include:
- Captain Minnie Mouse and Captain Mickey Mouse in new, coordinated uniforms. This appearance will only be made on the “Silver Anniversary at Sea” sailings.
- Disney Cruise Line will debut a song that will be the soundtrack of this silver celebration, “tunefully threading nostalgic memories of vacations past with the anticipation of new family adventures to come,” says Disney. Guests will hear the song in several ways during the cruises.
- Food, desserts, and drinks will be themed for the celebrations.
Guests can commemorate the special sailing with the “Shimmering Seas Collection,” a line of merchandise, including clothes, accessories, drinkware, and keepsakes, designed exclusively for the event with a new signature color.
New Membership Tier For Castaway Club
Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Club is also getting an upgrade for the big event. The Castaway Club recognizes returning guests with exclusive rewards and perks. To mark the silver anniversary, there will be a brand-new membership tier. Members will now earn Pearl status after 25 Disney Cruise Line vacations. Pearl members will receive new at-home and on-board benefits. Those exclusive benefits will be announced in early 2023.
Silver Anniversary At Sea Sailings
Sailings for the “Silver Anniversary at Sea” celebration are available now, going to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Europe, and Alaska from May until September 2023.
- The Disney Magic will set sail from Miami from May 24 to September 4 and visit the Bahamas, Disney’s private island on Castaway Cay, and the Caribbean.
- The Disney Wonder departs Alaska from Vancouver on May 15 through September 11 with stops in Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and others.
- The Disney Dream sails from May 7 to September 17 with transatlantic and European itineraries and includes the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and the Greek Isles.
- The Disney Fantasy sails from Port Canaveral, Florida, from May 6 to September 2 to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, with a day at Castaway Cay.
- The Disney Wish departs from May 1 to September 8 from Port Canaveral with sailings to Nassau, Bahamas, and Castaway Cay.
Disney Cruise Line
In July of 1998, the Disney Magic set sail on its maiden voyage. During the 25 years since, Disney Cruise Line has given guests access to destinations all over the world with its one-of-a-kind fleet of ships bringing the magic of Disney to the high seas.
