If you are interested in all things Disney, streaming services, or both, you already know that last Thursday, September 8, was the second annual Disney+ Day.
On the other hand, if you aren’t familiar with it, Disney+ Day “is a day dedicated to celebrating everything Disney’s streaming service has to offer,” Disney explains. Most notably, that’s the day new releases such as Thor: Love and Thunder and the live-action remake of Pinocchio began to stream on Disney+.
There’s more to Disney+ Day than the release of new Disney shows and movies, and a special discount for new subscribers, however.
“It’s Disney+ Day and we’re celebrating,” Thomas Smith, editorial content director at Disney Parks, wrote in a blog post.
Indeed, Disney+ subscribers are also now eligible for special offers from Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney Cruise Line’s Disney+ Offer
“We’re thrilled to share an all-new Disney Cruise Line offer for Disney+ subscribers,” Smith explains. “Third and fourth guests can sail free with two full-fare guests in the same stateroom — for up to two staterooms booked by Disney+ subscribers.”
It’s important to note that the offer is only available on select sailings aboard the Disney Magic, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy cruise ships from January 2023 through April 2023. The offer, which is valid through March 1, 2023, also only applies to select stateroom categories, Smith explains.
Finally, if you’re planning one of those cruises, you’ll also need to keep in mind that the offer excludes taxes, fees, and port expenses that typically are approximately $89 to $202 per person — depending on the itinerary selected. Those taxes, fees, and port expenses for all guests are due at the time of final payment.
And, of course, proof of a Disney+ subscription is required to take advantage of the offer.

Walt Disney World Resort’s Disney+ Offer
“For Disney+ subscribers planning to visit Walt Disney World Resort, the celebration continues with up to 20 percent savings on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels, for stays most nights December 11to 25,” Smith continues. “All guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel will also be able to enjoy 30 minutes early entry to every theme park, every day.”
Plus, when visitors stay at a Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort, they’ll also be able to participate in extended evening hours — in select parks and on select nights, Smith notes. That even includes Disney’s Hollywood Studios on December 15 and 22.
As you would expect, valid admission, a park reservation, and resort ID are required for the early admission and extended evening hours at the theme parks.
