Getting from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Disney World just got much more affordable. For the next month, the Sunshine Flyer has extended its Summer Special so kids ride free.
From now until September 5, kids ages 3–9 ride free on one-way and round-trip travel. They’ll still need a ticket, but you won’t be charged for the reservation. Children under 2 can travel on the lap of an adult for free, as well. Tickets do not need to be used during this time period. Adult tickets are $16 for one-way and $32 for round-trip.
“We are overwhelmed by the support we have seen this summer of the Sunshine Flyer,” said Tony Glibkowski, vice president of the Sunshine Flyer. “So far, we have welcomed thousands of families, and we have helped our guests enjoy their Disney vacation from the moment they step off the plane and onto one of our premium motorcoaches. Because of this, we are delighted to extend the promotion of free tickets for children and reduced ticket pricing for adults to show our continued appreciation.”
About The Sunshine Flyer
The Sunshine Flyer is a 1920s motorcoach with a theme centered around old-fashioned passenger cars and train locomotives. The experience begins when you see the bus designs and staff dressed as 1920s rail conductors and engineers.
The motorcoaches are wrapped as either a locomotive or a passenger car. None are the same, so whether you’re a first time rider or a returning guest, you’ll get a unique experience, and a photo opportunity, each time you hop on-board.
Transportation
The Sunshine Flyer podium is located at Terminal B, Level 1 at MCO. You’ll wait no longer than 20 minutes to board the bus.
Once you leave the airport, trips are designed so that the last stop will not take more than 65 minutes. The motor coaches go to 34 Walt Disney Resorts.
Reservations are accepted up until 4 days before service. Rides begin at 4 a.m. and services flights starting at 7:00 a.m. The last bus leaves the airport at 11:00 p.m.
If you’re flying into Florida, but not MCO, there are ways to get to Walt Disney World, such as this New Rail System To Connect Walt Disney World To Miami, Fort Lauderdale, And West Palm Beach.
