I’m going to make you a rental offer you can’t refuse.
One lucky person and four other guests have the opportunity to rent the home used as the residence of Don Corleone and his family in the 1972 Oscar-winning film The Godfather.
The 6,248-square-foot home is available on Airbnb for a single rental — a 30-day term — this August. Reservations can be made starting Wednesday, July 27, at 1 p.m. ET for the first person to submit a successful bid.
The cost for renting the home is $50 per night.
Built in 1930, the home is located in the Emerson Hill neighborhood on New York’s Staten Island. Yes, Staten Island. Not the setting for the film, but that’s where the home used for exteriors is located.
It maintains the same look as shown in the film, minus the retaining walls around the exterior which were added by film crews at the time.
The interior has undergone renovations and is completely modernized, according to the Airbnb listing.
During their stay, guests will have access to the complete mansion, which includes five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
In addition to a modern kitchen and living areas, the home features a large saltwater swimming pool, a pub in the basement, a game room, and a gym.
There will be limited access to closet space in the basement and attic, but otherwise, guests will have full access to everything.
The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, while three bedrooms have queen beds. A fifth bedroom has two single beds. This gives guests a lot of choices, considering only five people will be allowed in the rental agreement.
Other amenities include a pool table, an outdoor dining area and outdoor furniture, Wi-Fi in the home, air conditioning, and more.
The owners note that the home is located in a quiet neighborhood, so no outside or additional guests will be allowed at the home.
