Nintendo is making its theme park debut in the United States. Super Nintendo World will open at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2021.

Nintendo will help develop the interactive Super Nintendo World. It will feature entertainment amid life-sized versions of favorite Nintendo characters, like Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach. There will also be themed dining experiences and stores to buy Nintendo souvenirs to take home. The entire experience is supposed to make you feel like you are in a Nintendo game!
The world’s first Super Nintendo World opened in 2021 at Universal Studios Japan, and received positive reviews. California’s version is supposed to be modeled off Japan’s popular design. Universal Resort Orlando is also planning to open its own Super Nintendo World as part of its new Epic Universe Theme Park. It will become the resort’s fourth theme park and is slated to open in 2025, after the COVID-19 pandemic stalled construction plans.
