Disney is rolling out the blue carpet for its digital subscribers, giving them special access to all of the parks and perks once inside.
Disney+ Day will be celebrated Friday, November 12, with all kinds of special gifts and specials across every channel in the Disney family. But the parks are some of the best surprises.
Special access to the parks is always a great benefit, and Disney+ subscribers will get into all of them 30 minutes before the general public on that day.
If you’ve ever gotten into a park early, you remember the joy of roaming near-empty paths and getting to the most popular attractions before the crowds close in. So as a Disney+ subscriber, you can get to Space Mountain or Pirates of the Caribbean and jump right on without waiting in line.
The perk applies to any subscriber and their entire travel party at all the theme parks at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Subscribers may be asked to verify that they are a subscriber by displaying their logged-in home screen on the Disney+ app via their phone.
At Disney Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park, guests will get access to special photo opportunities throughout the parks with complimentary Disney PhotoPass digital downloads taken at select locations.
Disney characters will also be part of the day, joining the festivities with special appearances around the parks.
Additional surprises will be announced throughout the day to guests once inside the parks. Those announcements will come via the My Disney Experience mobile app and the Disneyland app.
Disneyland Paris is also getting in on the celebration, literally rolling out the blue carpet for guests to walk where they can take selfies with a number of characters. Guests can also eat at the Restaurant en Coulisse that day and will receive a special treat with each menu item purchase.
The day will wrap up at Walt Disney Studios Park with an extra 30 minutes added on to your stay. At that time, the Tower of Terror will be illuminated in blue.
