Tickets for Disney Wish, Disney’s most decadent cruise to date, are going live to the general public this week.
On May 27, 16 3-night cruises will go live as well as 15 4-night cruises. Cruises will depart from Port Canaveral en route to Nassau, Bahamas, and Disney’s very own island, Castaway Cay.
For 3-night cruises, tickets for two people start under $2,000, including taxes, fees, and all port expenses. For 4-night cruises, tickets for two start at a little under $2,200 and go up from there.
The amenities on the cruises are out-of-this-world awesome. Let’s get into the reasons we’re excited about the Disney Wish, debuting in summer 2022!
1. Fantastic Experiences And Live Entertainment
“In true Disney Cruise Line fashion, the Disney Wish will offer a robust menu of world-class entertainment throughout every voyage, including spectacular stage shows, exhilarating deck parties, one-of-a-kind character experiences, fun family activities, contemporary cabarets, and more,” said Laura Cabo, Portfolio Creative Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering.
Walt Disney Theatre will host Broadway-caliber productions with shows curated by Disney. The Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas will screen films running the gamut from Disney and Pixar to Marvel and Lucasfilm.
The Grand Hall, a stunning space that appears straight out of Cinderella, will be another hub for live entertainment.
“The Grand Hall will evolve from a fairytale gathering space into an environmental theater through the magic of built-in special effects and the first-ever atrium stage on a Disney ship,” said Cabo.
Live culinary experiences take the Disney Wish to the next level.
2. Versatile Cuisine And Dining
Dining aboard a cruise has never been so incredible. If you’re a Frozen fan, Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure is a must-experience. For the superhero fan in your life, Worlds of Marvel, a Marvel-themed dining experience, is an epic action-packed adventure just waiting to happen.
Beauty and the Beast fans will enjoy The Rose, an adults-only cocktail spot. 1923, another dining venue for an older crowd, honors the history of Disney in an elegant space serving food traditional to California.

3. Various Suites To Stay And Play In
Where you stay can be the least or most important part of your cruise, depending on what you’re looking for.
The ship has 1,254 staterooms, most with ocean views, and 877 with a verandah.
“Every stateroom on board the Disney Wish will be a luxurious, peaceful retreat designed with ample room for families, plenty of storage, and upscale amenities. Most will feature Disney Cruise Line’s signature split-bathroom concept for utmost comfort and function,” said Cabo.
In addition to a wide array of staterooms, the Disney Wish will also have four royal suites, including two double-story suites with multiple bedrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a dining table. You can read more about the most extravagant suite on the cruise here.

4. Fun For The Whole Family
The Disney Wish will offer activities for kids of all ages, interests, and hobbies.
If you’re cruising with kiddos under the age of 3, It’s a Small World Nursery is a babysitting service so older cruisers can enjoy other areas of the ship! Disney’s Oceaneer Club is where kids ages 3 to 12 can let their imaginations run wild, and they can see some of their favorite Disney characters and stories along the way. Edge, for 11 to 14 year olds, and Vibe, for 14 to 17 year olds, will keep older kids entertained.
Walt Disney Imagineering Lab will keep creative kids busy with activities and experiments galore. Marvel Super Hero Academy “is a high-tech Avengers headquarters where young ‘recruits’ will train to be the next generation of Super Heroes with the help of their own heroes, like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man, and the Wasp,” said Cabo.
Fairytale Hall, home to Disne princesses and princes, will host activities in rooms such as Rapunzel’s Art Studio and Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhus.
Another great family-friendly option is Hero Zone.
“Hero Zone is a futuristic sports arena where physical activity will blend with imagination during action-packed challenges and game show-style competitions for families to take on together,” said Cabo.

5. Adults-Only Experiences
Contrary to what some might think, Disney cruises aren’t just for kids. Everyone can find something to enjoy aboard the Disney Wish, especially since the cruise line includes several adults-only spaces!
Experiences include Star Wars: Hyper Space Lounge, an adults-only club where Star Wars fans can congregate and dine with backdrops of Tatooine, Mustafar, and Batuu; Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Michelin-starred chef Arnaud Lallement, two elegant, high-end restaurants; Quiet Cove, a pool with a bar and cafe; and Senses Spa, which offers various treatments.
6. Disney’s Very Own Island
Yep, you read that right! Disney Wish cruisers will get to soak up the sun on Castaway Cay, Disney’s incredible private island.
Castaway Cay has a family beach, an adults-only beach, slides and splash zones, and more. Inland, there will be live music, walking paths, a Castaway Cay 5K run with a medallion at the finish line, and yoga for adults.
If you have some money to spare, you can rent snorkel gear, bikes, and even plan port adventures that take off from the beach.

7. Bonus Perks And Surprises In Store
If you’re cruising with a significant other, you’ll be happy to know that you and your special someone can get married in the most magical place on the Disney Wish — the Grand Hall, decorated with fairy tale magic as its muse.
On any Disney trip, expect the experience to enchant each of your senses. Disney Wish will be no exception. Tickets go live on May 27, and hopefully, you’re as excited as we are now!
