The only thing more breathtaking than a Maui resort vacation is having the entire resort to yourself. Though this level of luxury might seem far-fetched, one resort is making this dream a reality.

For a very pretty penny, you and yours can have the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa all to yourself. With beachfront views ahead and tropical scenery behind, this 40-acre resort is the very definition of Hawaiian paradise. The resort is seated right on Kaanapali Beach, a 3-mile stretch of sea and sand that is sure to steal your breath away at least once.

There are two buyout packages from which to choose. The Hyatt Regency (Almost) to Yourself costs $525,000 for three nights. With this package, 232 rooms are available. The more glamorous, go-big-or-go-home package is the full buyout complete with all 810 rooms for $1,500,000. It isn’t exactly cheap to rent out a beachfront resort, but one can dream, right?

Both buyout packages include food and beverage. There are multiple dining options on-site, and travelers of all ages will love to soak up the sun at the impressive water playground. The packages include a handful of activities that promise adventure, education, tranquility, or a delightful mix of all three.

If you want a taste of Hawaiian culture, the hula dancing lessons, lei-making tutorials, and Hawaiian cooking- and mixology-themed classes are sure to please. If you would rather sit back and watch, an award-winning luau performance is bookable as well!

For some likely much-needed R and R, indulge in the hour-long yoga or meditation sessions right on the beach. What’s more peaceful than that?

While on Maui, you should explore the native wildlife. Don’t sleep on tours where you can get close (and even feed!) local creatures like adorable penguins and birds. Get out on the water by stand-up paddleboarding. Stargazers will absolutely love the Nighttime Tour of the Stars, where travelers can spot 80 of the 88 constellations from the convenience of the resort’s rooftop.

The resort recently underwent a 2-year-long, multimillion-dollar facelift. The guest rooms and the now-spacious lobby benefit most from the recent renovations.

So, if you have half a million or over a million bucks to spare, why not see Hawaii from a massive resort? You’ll experience it all: eye-catching tropical vegetation, unique tours, the mesmerizing Pacific, and other treasures of Maui.

On the island, there are amazing hidden gems, stunning places, luxurious beaches, and, of course, for thrill-seekers, the Road to Hana.
