There’s basement poker night, and then there’s high-class, ultra-luxury, high-stakes gambling. Here are the best casinos on Earth. Luck be a lady!
1. Sun City Casino Resort, South Africa
You might not typically think of South Africa as a hub for gambling. But with one of the most beautiful resorts in the world, one that parallels Las Vegas in its style and grandeur, it’s time to pay attention!
Sun City Casino Resort first opened in 1979, and rapidly became a preferred spot for legitimate gamblers, as well as travelers thirsty for a taste of the high life with some betting on the side. The resort now includes four hotels and multiple casinos. The list of amenities is long, but on the gambling side, you can expect to find roughly 40 blackjack tables, poker, roulette, Punto Baccarat, and over 850 slot machines.
Glitz, glamour, and the potential for significant gains all await you at Sun City.

2. Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas
We can’t talk about casinos without leaving a spot or two for Las Vegas. It’s the city that seems to take the majority of the spotlight when it comes to all types of gambling, and it has dedicated a massive chunk of its land to casinos.
One of the most classic and timelessly beautiful casinos is none other than the famous Caesar’s Palace. It is the casino on The Strip, and an iconic representation of luxury – and luck! With over 166,000 square feet of casino space, gambling aficionados will be able to play to their heart’s content.
For enjoyment during downtime, the hotel also boasts a massive 50,000 square foot spa, multiple pools, and 25 restaurants. It really does live up to its billing as a palace.

3. The Venetian Macau, China
It might be a bit farther away than the local bingo hall, but if you want to check out what people are calling the “Monte Carlo of the Orient,” you won’t want to miss out on The Venetian Macau in China. The city – technically, it’s an autonomous subregion – of Macau has arguably eclipsed Las Vegas as the planet’s premium adult destination.
The Venetian Macau holds a few global titles, including being the world’s seventh-largest building by floor space and the largest casino in the world. It’s also the largest single hotel in Asia.
For sheer foot-by-foot gaming fun, The Venetian Macau has everyone beat, and it cost a pretty penny to earn that distinction. The entire facility cost roughly $2.4 billion to build, but that includes over 30 restaurants, 3,000 rooms, 750 table games, and 3,000 slots spread out over 550,000 square feet of gambling space.
Of course, the Venetian Macao has a sister resort in Las Vegas called The Venetian Las Vegas if you aren’t planning to head to China any time soon, but trust us: Macau is worth the trip if you like to try your luck!

4. The Wynn, Las Vegas
The Wynn was once the shining jewel of the Las Vegas strip. It was the most expensive hotel-casino ever built when it first opened in 2005. Even billionaires thought it was a game changer, and it won glowing reviews from the likes of Richard Branson.
In no way has the complex gone downhill since then; the competition has simply gotten fiercer. While The Wynn cost $2.7 billion to build, new state-of-the-art resorts and casinos are doubling that total these days.
Still, with 217 acres of land and 111,000 square feet of gaming space, The Wynn is no joke. It’s still a contender among the best of the best, and it also offers a championship quality 18-hole golf course, nearly 20 restaurants, and more boutique shopping than you could imagine.
Unless you win big, prepare to lose a few bucks! On the other hand, if you had fun you won.

5. Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore
Singapore is leading the way in quite a few categories, and ‘most expensive casinos’ is now one of them. With the Resorts World Sentosa, developers spend roughly $5 billion to construct a massive complex: six individual hotels, a marine park, and a Universal Studios amusement park.
You’ll feel like you’re in your own world when you visit this immense superstructure; when you get to the casino, you’ll find over 500 table games and 2,400 slots and electronic game machines. Since the casino has a partnership with International Game Technology (IGT), it has access to some of the most advanced gaming equipment you’ll find anywhere.
A distinct Singaporean style is displayed in the tree-top loft luxury suites that literally rest among treetops over 30 feet in the air. But if that’s not your style, you can choose another premium suite from one of the six hotels on-site.
If you’re looking to gamble in style, these are the best places in the world to do it. You’ll have more gaming options than you can imagine, and whether you leave with winnings or losses, you’ll get to experience how the high rolllers live. Not to mention – you’ll get to stay in some of the most magnificent hotels if you stay on-site. Put a few bucks down on black 15 for us!
